Why in the hell would you go anywhere else if you didn’t grow up a major fan of another school? I’m not discounting other school’s ability to put players in the nfl, but over a 10 year span no one has proven they are on the same level with the football factory that is Alabama when it comes to turning potential into success at the next level. You wouldn’t walk into a casino and put a million dollars down on a 20-1 bet when you could have it at 5-1.

If that’s the case then Bama should be an NFL farm program and not in what’s supposed to be a competitive collegiate conference

Give any top 25 program Bama's recruiting classes the last 10 years and they would produce just as many pros.

Dumbass.

Dude if you are good enough you can be a #1 draft pick from any school in D-1. Nothing special about Bama and the NFL

That argument doesn’t hold weight. Compare how many 3 stars Alabama has put on an active roster and how many everyone else has.

Dumbass.

Same reason people turn down appointments to one of the Service Academies. Some people want to enjoy life between the ages of 18-22 years old and be able to walk without a limp in their 30s.

Nope

~75% of Saban's 5 stars at Alabama have been drafted. The national rate for that is ~50%.

18 year old kids don't always make the best life decisions. Most teenage boys are chasing pussy and popularity.

I don’t know. We’re pretty good at putting guys in the league. I will say that if you want to win a natty in college at least once, Bama is the place to be right now.

I say just the opposite. A lower percent four star players make it to the NFL form Bama than almost any other school. If you are a four or five star player at Mississippi State, there is a dang good chance the coaches are all in on you. Bama may push you aside for the other ten guys that play your position that are just as good or better because you didn't brush your teeth like Saban likes it.

Five star guys usually make it no matter where they go, so Bama offers nothing there.

And high three's don't even bother looking at Bama. You will never be developed or play.
