You've never been to Norman, Stillwater, Lubbock, or Fort Worth have you?

Yea, sorry, Alabama Football and South Carolina Football as independents would...........not be the same thing.

And that's why I'd pick the PAC 12.

I would say B10. Weather would suck, but the cities are awesome.

What cities in the big10 are awesome? The only one that might be cool is Madison.

I’ve been to all but Lubbock. Fort Worth is bad arse I don’t know why you’re so butt hurt about the big12. You sound like a sore loser.

If you consider Fort Worth as "bad arse", than I question just about everything else in your life.

And I'm not butt hurt about the Big 12. Except for Austin, there are no other good college towns left in the conference. I will admit I've never been to Ames with nice weather so that may jade my view.

Eta: actually thinking more about Ames is actually pretty cool, but in the 4 times I've been there the weather has been absolutely shitty.

Also Madison is one of my favorite college towns anywhere

Madison is a beautiful city. I don’t know if I could handle the winters, but the summer was really nice!

None. If I wasn't a fan of a team in the SEC I most likely wouldn't be here and I'd be missing out on threads like this one.

American Football Conference. Sure, Mizzou would probably go 0-16 every year, but they'd get the first pick in the draft and that could be exciting!

A lot of people like the old SEC before we brought in SC and Arkansas which I think were great fits. Arkansas fans are so passionate about their programs and only SC could sell out tickets and pack their stadium when they were winning 2 games. Two great fan bases that are as passionate as any.

Bring in A&M and Missouri. While the LSU fans hate A&M, they were a great fit and long before they came, some of us thought they belonged here. Mizzou has had the hardest time getting any love because so many see them as an outsider IE “A northern state.”

As time goes by that will pass. I just personally don’t want another expansion. I think 14 teams is enough.

14 teams is too many. It's a big mess.

Depends on your definition of "good".

I think Lawrence is a fine college town. Norman and Stillwater are a little boring and Oklahoma-ey, but they're not terrible places.
