I would love to see USC or Georgia get one if not LSU. Having one of them win it would really cap off an unbelievable run by the SEC. 5 different teams would be an extraordinary level of domination by a collection of teams.

If Alabama runs through the conference again and wins it all, it waters down the perception that it was an amazing SEC run and instead will be viewed as the Era of Saban.

If A&M wins it.... Mother of God.

My answer:

A)Want another SEC team to win it to continue the streak

Even before the discussion (and eventual move) of A&M coming to the SEC, I had become a fan of SEC football in general. (That and LSU has the baddest mascot in college sports!)

It would be best if this board shut down for the offseason. Also I would recommend staying out of 60 mile radius of College Station for a good while

If it's Vanderbilt or Kentucky, hell yes. I'd get so much mileage trolling local Big 10 fans out of either of those winning, it would be the best vicarious sports year ever for me.

Honestly, the only reason i really cared about the SEC winning multiple national championships was for the status of the SEC to be elevated so what happened to Auburn in 2004 would never happen again to the SEC (and more specifically Georgia). After this year there will be a 4 team playoff, and in my opinion, if you can't be one of the best 4 teams on your own laurels then you shouldn't be in the conversation. So no. I don't want the SEC to win.

I think it already seems that way (nationally, at least)

Why decrease the radius from the norm? :coco2:

The power of winning titles only helps my team in the polls. Why would I not want to help my team?

With that said. Frick Georgia.

As long as it isn't bama or LSU, I'm for any SEC team winning it.

Saban would be great no matter what. But even hardcore fans have to admit that, without the SEC and the competition it offers, "Saban, Bama coach" wouldn't be "Saban, undisputed best coach in the country." For all that LSU fans bitch about scheduling, they (and the rest of the SEC) are part of what makes each SEC title winner great. I'd go so far as to suggest that without that Iron Bowl win, Auburn wouldn't have been tested enough to drive to the national title.

Just keep in mind God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for the same shite that would likely go on in College Station.

Thanks for the advice. I'll just stick to the 4 lane roads and I won't have to worry about it.
