Finebaum has been on a crusade to try to paint all Auburn fans as horrible monsters. He got all maudlin and cherry picked a couple of off-color jokes at Shane's expense from message boards (by the way, cancer or not, frick Shane. He's built his public image around nothing but spreading hateful bullshite about Auburn.) And now he's creating another straw man.

1) How the hell does this psychic Auburn fan, given only on the first name a Finebaum caller gave (which could easily not even be her real name), find the last name, tie that to her college aged daughter, and get her email address?

2) Seriously, who the hell, even amongst the fringe, would go out of their way to that extent to basically tell someone with cancer to frick themselves.

3) "I wush they'da been brave enough to saghn they name to theyut email 'stead-a jest writin' War Eagle". It's an email. Hit reply.

4) Who's really on the fringe here? Assuming you're a logical, normal person, if you got an outpouring of support and donations from tons of people, are you really going to dedicate practically 100% of your airtime to talk about one a-hole that said something negative, and use it as a vehicle to point out how much you hate a fanbase?

5) This whole staged bullshite was the lead-in to Harvey Updyke begging forgiveness. Paul's way of saying that Bama fans, even Updyke, are sympathetic figures, while Auburn fans are the true monsters.
