I have to say that is is almost up there with the Rams Saints playoff no call. It was obvious a set up and impossible to miss and showed the NFL is sports entertainment not a real sport.

It appeared the Lions win the game wit a great 2 point play with a pass to an OT. Way after the play the ref throws a flag for failure to report. After the game to his credit, Troy Aikman and Joe Buck show the video where you can clearly #68 and #70 both reporting to the official.

Dan Campbell had smoke coming out of ears.

The official explanation is that the ref didn’t hear him.

They simply weren’t going to let Dallas Cowboys lose on Ring of Honor day period.

Btw is you want to win a lot of money their was a leak of all the playoffs results and winners a month ago and the Lions are winning the Superbowl as it’s been predetermined.

As a Dallas fan who’s son and my 2 grandsons were at the game I say it was a legitimate call and all is good in the world…..

The refs just made up a penalty to give the game to Dallas. More proof that some NFL games are rigged. No doubt about it.

My first realization of that was in the 2001 playoffs, when a bad "Patriots" team had to win the SB because of 9/11. First, the so-called tuck rule prevented them from losing to the Raiders in the playoffs. Then the Patriots were allowed to bump, hold and interfere with Rams receivers in the SB and an obvious Brady grounding penalty was ignored on their winning FG drive. Oh, and they also taped a Rams SB practice the day before. And got away with it.

There have been many, many questionable games and ref calls or non-calls since then and probably before then as well.

They didn't call an obvious PI on Dallas a few plays before the TD either.

I mean WTF is he supposed to do. You can clearly see him go up to official and say something to him and then official goes to rely information to the defense. Do they need Cards?

The Lions could have still gotten the number 1 seed and are know stuck at 3. Now they are trying to blame the poor guy for not telling him loudly enough???

Dan Campbell also said in the press conference that they went over this play in detail with the officials before the game.

This really looked like finger on the scale shite. We know it happened in basketball because they got in trouble and wrote a book on it. And they made changes.

I hope no one lost money on that

NFL and college are both rigged, too much money involved not to have every possible thumb on the scale. In 50 years people will view football like we view boxing today.

No big dog in this fight, but as a Saints fan I hate the NFL and Refs, and Roger Godtohell.

As they say in literature, Animal Farm I think, “All pigs are equal but some pigs are more equal than others.” I really think our superbowl was probably helped along the way by them too.

Yep. My brother and I were both saying how is that not PI? The refs tried to kill the drive then, but found a way to kill the Lions later on the 2-point conversion. A great play is taken away by the refs. Rigged.

Goff just said that only 68 reported (Decker) so 70 didn’t report at all. The official completely fricked it all up.

And nothing will happen

You mean the official fricked the Lions on purpose, I think.

Ryan Clark is unloading on them and he just showed, dispite what they said on the broadcast the formation is completely legal.

70 was a guard and covered by 3 people. And 70 said he didn’t say shite. This is nuts.

Accountability isn’t for officials, the super rich, the elite, most politicians, CEOs, teenagers etc

It’s an illegal formation anyway. The real crime in this is that far bozo Mike McCarthy gets bailed out again for horrible time management.

Of course, NFL is sticking with their bs theory even though

70 said I didn’t say a GD thing and
68 said I reported as I was told to do

Why would a guard report as eligible?????????

Also in the video you can clearly see 68 reporting.

Unreal, they might as well say who are you going to believe me or your lying eyes.

Ryan Clark showed the whole thing on the teleprompter and formation is fine.

SVP just called BS on whole thing

ESPN guys now openly mocking the NFL and the BS. About time

Then why did they call offsides against Dallas on the very next two point conversion attempt?

He was still covered by another receiver and I don’t think you can be declared as an eligible receiver regardless in that case.

At least that is my view of it and the way I have always understood it.

Great execution on the call but that would have been why Dallas didn’t cover the guy because they knew he was not an eligible receiver.

He was not. I thought the same thing at first glance, but it was due to the angle. It was close, but t

Regardless of how the frick up happened, this could indeed be the case. Two lineman were near the ref pre-snap and one of them reports as eligible (the ref claims it was #70). In the replay, the ref steps up to the LOS before the snap and tells them #70 was reporting as eligible.

Isn’t there an NFL board for this? I checked my Giveashitometer and I’m still getting nothing.

Well if that’s true, that’s an illegal formation.

If both are eligible, it’s an illegal formation.

Only one of those 2 can report as eligible.
