People like to dog Troy, and they should never had beaten LSU, but Troy has a solid program that could probably beat half the teams in the big 10 and Pac 12.

over $1 million dollars to lose to Troy

That may the worst investment since Alleva offered multi millions to make Orgeron the head coach.

Good heavens. Troy was a Division II school before 2000. They still garner less respect and credibility than other Sun Belt teams like UL-Monroe, ULL, and Arky State.

Troy is a top 30 team in the nation according to the coaches poll.

They are better than about half of the shitty teams in the SEC.

Maybe aTm should've paid Troy's coach 75 million to become their coach so they can beat LSU too.

You are paying a man $10 million dollars in the next Six weeks for losing to LSU 6 times.

You are also paying another man $75 million guaranteed. For ten years. Who just went 5-6. In the ACC.

Who once owned the conference, butgot lazy, and let Clemson(frickng Clemson) take over the conference. And let Miami and Richt take Florida back.

A Saban he is not.

So after five pages, it seems apparent that no one pisses away money like LSU, and their commitment to wasting money on lost causes is only surpassed by their blind willingness to defend it vigorously on the internet.

Got it.

Get over it. That Troy win over LSU was a freak of nature, like LSU's loss to UAB in 2000, LSU's loss to Southern Miss in 1994, and their loss to Miami(Ohio) in 1986. Those are, to my knowledge, the only LSU losses to lower-division opponents since 1958, and all four have one factor in common: LSU's unlucky purple jerseys. The Tigers would have almost certainly won those games wearing their normal uniforms.
