back on your team on the offensive and defensive side from any time period, in their prime, which two players would you choose?
For me..
Defense
Derrick Thomas
1988
27 Sacks for -204 yds
39 combined sacks and tackles for losses
44 QB hurries
2 Blocked kicks
Offense
I'm not sure at this moment. Ingram is the easy choice with all he accomplished this season, but I also am leaning towards Shaun Alexander and Scott Hunter a bit too. I'll have to get back on this one.

You would take Thomas over Palmer?

yep.
I'm assumin you mean David Palmer. Which I wouldn't really be taking him over him, as they are not both defense.

Ryan Perrilloux, with his head on straight, for the last two years.

Defense: Johnie Cooks. 2nd overall pick of the 1982 draft.
Offense: John Bond.

Carlos Rogers & Bo Jackson
Having a complete lockdown corner is such a luxury. And Bo is Bo of course.
Honorable Mentions: Karlos Dansby & Ronnie Brown

I can't pick just one.
Rohan was by far the best team leader I have ever seen play at LSU.
So I guess I would say Rohan Davey

For this year? David Greene and Richard Seymour. For any old generic year? Herschel and Thomas Davis.

I didnt read it correctly the first time. I thought you meant just one player, not one from each squad defense/offense.
mi badness.

Peyton Manning and Cornelius Bennett. (You didn't stipulate that they had to be on our team to start with).
