Should be a good run blocking TE. Probably a solid 5.7 3*.
Maybe because its a spring game and nobody really cares what you call it? Although I guess we could get both AD's to meet up together and play rock paper scissors to see who has to change their name.

I like the list.
No question Ingram will be a first rounder. People are way underestimating his NFL potential. He doesn't fumble, he runs north/south well, and he has good size.
I have heard he likes bama a lot but I wouldn't say we have a significant lead or anything. This one could go any direction still its really early. But right now it looks like bama and OSU leave. I could see Tressel really concentrating on in state kids this year after how badly they did in Ohio in this last recruiting class.

Brandon Ivory he was a 2* committed to Memphis but switched to bama when we offered. He could be a beast in a couple years he has the size we need at ng.
John Hannah and Derrick Thomas
I'd go with
Bham- Bama
Montgomery - Aub
Huntsville - Bama
Mobile- pretty even split between Bama/AU with a decent amount of LSU/FSU/UF fans.

You can argue he's a great player and will do well in the NFL, but you there's no way you can say he isn't morbidly obese. Using the conservative 370lbs measurement, at 6'4", his BMI is 45, well in the morbidly obese range.
Sorry BMI is an awful system. It doesn't take muscle mass into account at all only total weight. Rolando McClain is considered obese by BMI standards and if you've ever seen him then you would know that is a joke. I'm not trying to say that Cody isn't significantly overweight but he is not "morbidly obese"

IMO McElwain is the 3rd best assistant on bama's staff. I would put Smart ahead of him and I think Pendry is the best assistant on the staff he has put out some amazing Olines.
You do realize that Nick Saban's backup plan if McElroy went down was to play a true freshman with absolutely zero snaps prior to the game right. Sometimes that's just how depth works out with qbs.

The LB from Vanderbilt (Marve?) is gonna be one of the best in the SEC he is just under the radar because he goes to Vandy.
Also Hightower could be a beast if he comes back healthy.

Arie Kouandijo commits!

Arie K. committed tonight per BOL.
Darick Rogers to replace Allen
Florida with only one is surprising. It seems like a lot of their players don't tend to do as well in the nfl for some reason.

You do realize quarterbacks can get injured right? And that most coaches would like to have more than three scholarship qbs on the roster.

Well, first of all, as has been established previously on this board, I'm not sure Les Miles is the example we all want to follow relative to decision making......Meyer would be taking one each year because of the system he uses that is a little tougher on a QB's health. For example, if I were Air Force, GA Tech, FL, I might take a QB each year....
If I were Alabama, I probably wouldn't have this year.....They have some good ones coming back, but I think this is just insurance and then they'll have to recruit another one next year in a deeper QB class because Sims isn't going to be the answer.
Not sure what the Chizik comment is supposed to mean or where it fits in this, but we are very happy with Chizik. He won one more game than i thought he would this year and he knows how to build a great staff and recruit......things are looking up for us.
We always hire a guy that leaves people scratching their heads, and then the guy works out fine. Only 6 head coaches since 1950....you don't do that without having your crap together on coaching hires......
Well then what about Pete Carrol? He picks up a qb pretty much every year. Is he an idiot for recruiting Scroggins even though Barkley is only a freshman this year? Obviously you are a smarter football coach than Pete Carrol and Nick Saban.
As for Auburn don't they already have something like 6 qbs on the roster and they are still recruiting a juco qb. What does that say about Chiziks confidence in your qbs? If I were an auburn fan I would be worried about that.
Definite: Rolando McClain, Joe Haden, Eric Berry, Terrence Cody
Possible: Tebow, Javier Arenas, Tolliver, Dan Williams, Mike Johnson, Pouncey, Norwood

That's interesting. So does Tennessee also happen to reside in what is probably the most fertile three county recruiting area in the country?
