He didn't beg, but he did play that nifty little "we are undefeated in regulation" card.

Definitely Arkansas in '06. I know Tubs always lost to teams he shouldn't have, but I never forgave him for that one.

What about the UGA game that year?

Auburn 1940. Tied 7-7, if we'd have won we would have faced Minnesota for the national championship.

MU vs kU--1960
MU vs OU--2007
Either one gives us a national championship

LSU v Gumps last year in New Orleans. It still hurts.

1975 - A&M @ Arkansas
Cost us a legit shot at a NC in the final game of the season.

LSU vs AU or LSU vs Florida 2006 that fricking team should have won the national championship. Probably the most talent LSU has ever fielded. Well at least that I've ever seen.

Probably already been said, but the 1996 fiesta bowl. Florida vs. Nebraska.. we got stomped 62-24

What Miles did was say a fact. LSU was undefeated in regulation. He didnt go on Gameday and tell people how you dot have to win your division to be the best AND THEN turn around the very next year and say e did t like how UF was gonna get to the Sugarbowl.

Are you suggesting LSU would have been beaten worse than 21-0?
I'm stating A FACT. IM ABOUT TO SAY A FACT,before the bowl season, BAMA had beaten 2 ranked teams and just 3 teams with a winning record, OSU beat 5 ranked teams and 6 with a winning record. Osu had a far better resume than Bama. That's a fact.
Also, yes LSU got stomped on jan.9th at a neutral site. Bama got stomped by Utah in 2008, was Utah a better team than Bama in 2008? Also ulm beat Bama in 2007, was ulm better than Bama?

And how does that matter?

It's also a fact that Okla St lost to a 6-7 team.

The 2008 SEC Championship. Florida was unstoppable in the fourth quarter, but Alabama had them on their heels in the third quarter. Alabama lost 31-20. A win would have sent Alabama to Miami to face Oklahoma for the national title. We could potentially be looking at national titles in 2008, 2009, 2011, and 2012.

Never , in the history of the BCS , has who you lost too counted for more than who you beat. If it did then UF would've been sitting at home in 06 when you lost Auburn and Michigan lost to Ohio state , by three points.
Last year selection has literally never happens. The eyeball test was used.

When did say it mattered? Find it for me. I was saying how Les said a fact and Saban was begging to be out into the title game because he "thought" they were better.

1998 SECCG. Beat Tenn and win the SEC. Would have faced A&M in the Sugar and probably would have won.
