1. Florida
2. Georgia
3. LSU
4. Texas A&M
5. Auburn
6. Ole Miss
7. Mississippi State

I excluded Alabama but I guess they'd be somewhere in the middle. IMO 1 and 2 are not up for debate

I love how LSU fans consider themselves Big 6.

They're in the top 4 in SEC Titles in all three major mens sports. They are the only school to have at least 10 conference titles in all 3 sports. And the Big 6 term comes from the fact that no other school has won an SEC football title post integration other than ALabama, LSU, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee and Georgia. That's why

So who are the assistants? Recruiters? I'll take the team with the best. I guess they'd be clones too.

I mean the high school talent that comes from those two states is undeniable. The list basically comes down to number of high level recruits along with in-state competition for those recruits

Imagine Saban at Florida state. Christ he'd make that entire conference quit

A Nick Saban lead team would never go undefeated again.

Maybe 5+ years ago, but he's about to retire any year now.

Oh I get why those 2 would be up top, it's just rare for an LSU fan on these boards to be that objective. At least it seems that way...maybe because there's much more of yall.

Thats how I broke it down. I said I almost had LSU and UGA tied at 2, but I think LSU having not as many colleges in the geographic area, as well as having Texas as our neighbor puts us over UGA

But I absolutely don't think having UGA at 2 on a list is far fetched

For insecure Texans, A&M would be #2 on list if included

I disagree. I don't Saban would stay there 10 yrs. It's their culture from administration through the fanbase. They accept mediocrity. I think of battered wife syndrome

Meh, Saban wouldn't lose anyone to Georgia Tech. They just don't recruit the same level of players. He could recruit the Atlanta metro area alone and field an awesome team. Louisiana just doesn't have the numbers. The ATL metro area has a million more people than the entire state of Louisiana. I believe I heard on the radio in the past year that the ATL metro area had more NFL players than any other city going into last season. They could have been wrong but it wouldn't be too far off.

We already have data proving Saban at Bama would be better than Saban at L5U.

I think you're missing the point that Saban would be at every school at the same time in this theoretic scenario, not how well could Saban do at each school by itself. And Saban is also a better coach now than he was when he was at LSU.

Even without taking into account the fact Saban improved as a coach, he was at LSU 5 years

2 sec titles and 1 national title

His first 5 years at Bama

1 Sec title and 2 national titles

The idea of Saban at UF or UGA is unnerving.

Saban at UF, UGA, or A&M is legit
