If you are Mullen, do you receive or kickoff if you win the toss?

Gotta receive and try to get the first score. We all know that Saban is gonna put the D out first if they win it. I know the build up in MS is getting fever pitched. The "webelieve" thing is nice and a little over the top, but is about what most of us think. We believe we have a shot at pulling the upset and that's all that matters.

What are you Bama fans doing? Even a little nervous about this game or ho hum, it's just Mississippi State? I know Saban and the players aren't thinking this way, but what about the fans?

And I don't give a shite if this is a good grind or WTF ever, just curious what the Tide fans are thinking.

kick off and pull the onside kick. it sets the tone for the grindstock when we recover the kick

Honestly, it probably really doesn't matter. But i'd take my offense getting first crack so that IF we managed to luck into a first drive score, it gives the best chance due to momentum... maybe it'll help cause some sloppy play u can keep taking advantage of.... idk.

This game is gonna be pretty bad for MSU i think.

i actually agree. it will take some stones to win this game and that would change the atmosphere.

whenever you are on the road it is good to go ahead and put your offense out with their scripted first drive, just because that is what they have been running through...usually. But i would rather defer and let our defense try to set the tone, worst thing you want is a three and out on the first drive.

You kick, our 1st offensive possesion usually looks like we're trying to run the clock out in 24pt blowout.

Derrick Dooley once said, "Don't score first, that just pisses them off."

UT lost 37-6 after holding the initial lead

defer so Banks or Slay can go ahead and get a pick to set up and easy score

Good luck with that. I'll gladly let you punt from the 27 a minute into the game.

Then why would Mullen receive and play into his hands? Also though, we've received the ball plenty of times when we've won the toss under Saban.

Florida and Ole Miss had both done it too before the UT game last year. They each hit a big play for a TD right off the bat. They combined for a total of 3 points after that.

We have been great on opening drives this year. It's usually a no-brainer. But this might be one of those field position games. We'll take the ball though and try to take the crowd down a notch.

Yeah scoring first didn't work well for Florida last year either.

Bama has not been very good on offense during the opening series. I would kick off.

No we haven't, we usually shite the bed and go three and out... But then we usually score on our next six drives.

The hope yall have is cute. Although I'm disappointed it's dropped to a close, "field position" back and forth kind of game.

You have to attend college at your respective school on this board before you unlock the privilege of this "thinking" you speak of.
