1. Mullen didn't average 8 wins a year at Mississippi State.
2. That 8-5 year was Kirby's first year as a head coach. In Mullen's first year, he won 5 games.
3. Mullen has never won a game that meant anything. Kirby won the SEC Championship and the Rose Bowl in his second year.
4. Kirby's first two recruiting classes were better than any recruiting class Mark Richt ever signed.
5. Again, in 9 seasons as a head coach, Mullen had only one 10 win season. Bobby Petrino had more 10 win seasons during his short time at Arkansas.
6. Mullen has yet to pull in a top 10 recruiting class.
7. Mullen only went 5-4 against Ole Miss. Against Ole Miss! He's going to get owned by UGA and Florida St.

Maybe he works out at UF, maybe not, but Kirby wouldn't have won a thing in Starkville either, and most coaches could never put together something to match that 2015 team.

Georgia has always recruited well, still never translates to championships. And it'll likely drop off as Tennesse and Florida get better and start winning.
