Would Saban still be undefeated against former assistants?

You can’t coach when you’re at home with no communication with staff. Next question.

If Edmund Oregon was American, would it still be impossible for non-retarded people to understand what he was saying when he spoke?

That is the real question and it is a question that needs to be examined.

Would it go against his record or not?

But it appears you can still pick up dubs or Ls. From an NCAA official..

quote:

Typically when a coach misses a game, or a limited number of games, due to a temporary illness, the wins and losses that take place during his/her absence, count on the head coach's won-lost record. But if an institution knows its coach is going to miss some time to an illness or other unexpected circumstance, they can inform us in advance if they want the win or loss to go to an interim coach.
"Generally speaking, a one-game absence (and hopefully that is the worst-case scenario) with the coach able to still communicate with his staff and players, would result in the head coach having wins and losses count against his/her won-lost record. Again though, it's up to the school to decide."

Saban getting his first L to a former assistant in a game he didn't coach would be very 2020.

Braves are 6 outs from going up 3-1 vs the MLB Champ favorites and punching their own tkt to the World Series.

Bottom line: there are more important things to worry about than a one off game that will most likely be a mulligan SEC CG no matter the outcome

Sweeeet.

Teams up 3-1 in a 7 game series are 74-13 in MLB postseason series.

I don't hate what I'm seeing from the Bravos...

Hoping the Dodgers are demoralized. Pressure is on them.

I can't believe what I am reading here. A self-identified Bama fan actually postulates that a Braves playoff game is more important than the Bama-UGA game?

As for me and my house, we will rise and fall with the Tide. Not the Braves.

Okay, cool. Some have the emotional depth to focus and care for more than one thing at the same time. Especially when they are completely different sports and levels of competition.

One is a playoff series; the other is likely a throw away game... and the premise of the thread dealt with if a Bama loss is a W or L for Saban vs a former asst if he doesnt actually coach. That is more nonsense that is less important to me than the actual W or L of the UA-UGA game and/or the current outcome of the NLCS

It’s a narrative they can give to the annual Alabama/Tennessee slaughter that he has not lost to an assistant. Therefore, it will not count.

I’ve been on the fence, but this comment here seals it. I’m going with UGA for the win this week.

Unfortunately (or fortunately for Bama fans), that means a probable win for Bama over UGA in the SECCG, because I don’t think either of these teams goes 2/2 against the other (see 2011).

Maybe they’ll both get in the playoff and actually get to face each other 3 times. Now THAT would be very 2020.
