If there were an 8 team playoff here’s how the final rankings should fall:

1. Michigan
2. Washington
3. FSU
4. Texas
5. Alabama
6. Ohio St
7. Oregon
8. Georgia

Again, once a high ranking team loses, the original ranking means very little. At that point, you should throw the original ranking out and just go by strength of schedule and best wins.

Ole Miss over Oregon for sure. Their 2 losses are to Georgia and Alabama. Oregon lost to Washington twice. They had their opportunity twice and blew it. Could even make an argument Missouri should be in if not ole Miss.

Ole Miss needs to be in this with the only two losses being on the road against Bama and Georgia.

Georgia 6 at the very least and probably would have only dropped to 4 or 5 under an 8 team consideration.
