I am just curious what everyone thinks about this? I think it will end some old rivalries. But maybe ignite some new ones

if each team has 3 permanent opponents I don't see how or why any rivalry worth a shite would go away.

I still don't understand that shite. Are you supposed to have an SEC Semi-Final Game before the SECCG?

I have a feeling lsu is gonna get screwed more than anybody with this. It seems we won’t be playing Florida. I just hope we keep playing Auburn and Bama

The entirety of college football will align into two mega conferences, don't love the idea

Or will we still keep them? I really don’t know much about it. The future of college football is changing fast.

It's gonna be a 3-6-6. At least it should. And we have
will 10rc on our schedule every year.

Didn’t this past June, CBS Sports say that the SEC confirmed that the pod system is not being considered in the realignment?

Can SC request Vandy, Mizzou and Arky?

Not pods, but a 3-6 schedule. Would allow you to play everyone at least every other year, which is 100 times better then the current set-up.

Well, us and 10rc are gonna want them on our schedule. I guess the 3rd team is up for debate.

It's going to be 3 permanent rivals and 6 rotating conference games, all but confirmed now.

I think its a great idea. You should play at every SEC stadium when you finish your four years playing. Hope Bama keeps

Auburn

Tennessee

Mississippi State

The LSU-UF rivalry would likely go away with Pods and that would suck. The head to head is 33-33-3 right now. I think that is a rivalry that is worth a shite.

I dont really care too much because a lot of LSUs schedule isn't a true rival. Just rotates as the years go.

Well it is 100% probability that you will not play Auburn and Bama when OU and Texas comes in, an 99.99999% probability that LSU will not play either one of them.

Auburn will play UGA and Bama and a 3rd team (not LSU)
Bama will play Auburn and TENN and a 3rd team (not LSU)

LSU will play Aggie and Ole Miss and a 3rd team (likely Miss. State). Florida maybe if both schools really push to keep it, but I don't get the sense that either school will do that.
