Even way back in '72, it looks like LSU and Auburn were afraid to play conference games.

We are not winning out so this is dumb. I'm as excited as the next person but I'm not going to say we are going 6-1 the rest of the way

That's exactly how the rule is written to determine the division champ.

It amazes me that there are so many people so moronic as to think the SEC might actually leave the millions of TV dollars from the LSU/UF game on the table.

If that's the case then who is to blame? Shouldn't the SEC step in and force Florida's hand. Does UF voluntarily throw away the gate money at this point? Sunday and Monday sure do look nice right about now.

You don't get it. Blame? Throw away gate money????

This game will be played in November, or December with the SECCG pushed back a week. The SEC will mandate it.

And that's why the sec office is ok with this cancellation

LSU is like the fourth or fifth best team left on Alabama's schedule

At least we know the difference between "then" and "than." We also know the correct spelling of the word, "people."

The idea that the SEC wouldn't mandate that the game be made up is sheer stupidity.
.

I'm not actually sure they can. If it came down to it then most likely Florida would be forced to forfeit

The UF LSU game needs to be played.

It absolutely needs to be played. Both programs + the SEC office need to spend the next 72 hours working that shite out.

The decision to cancel the game came from the SEC. It was made to frick over LSU and make it a little easier for Bama to get to the SECCG. With LSU pretty much out of the way Bama can focus more on TAM and Aurburn.

I think LSU did a good enough job of fricking LSU by losing to Wisconsin and Auburn.

Remember, your fanbase and media was the one that constantly said "If we don't win a Championship with this team, there's no excuses".

It would cost millions of dollars to compensate LSU for giving up a home game (11/19) for the second year in a row.

It's on Florida now.

They have no written rule in the rule book that says the sec would use winning percentage

Yes it goes by winning %. 7-1 will advance over 6-1 regardless of head to head.

Bama has to lose at least 2 games for LSU to have a shot at Atlanta, if the UF game isn't played.
