It has to be prior to Saban arriving at Bama. UF and LSU were really good in the early and mid 00's.

It's easy to say the SEC is down, but if UGA doesn't lose their starting QB, we are probably looking at an all SEC championship game and a 3rd time they play each other this season.

Yep 2000 was a notably shitty season for the SEC and assuming Texas loses this will be the worst season (record wise) for the SEC since then.
