Why would alabama deserve to be in over Georgia if they won a close game?

UGA deserves to be in over Bama no matter Saturdays outcome

That’s absurd.

Let’s not worry about this. We sat out Bowers and McConkey against Tech.
They will
Be good to go.
They will
Be good to go.

Alabama would have a better collection of wins against a better overall schedule. And they'd have a conference championship whereas Georgia would not.

Texas does deserve to be in over Bama. Who says they don't?

We’re doing hypotheticals where both teams win.
Sorry that upsets you.

Nobody deserves a damn thing, Stidham8, and I'll be damned if you try to prove otherwise!

You sound like a dork I am starting to understand why bama don't like those lee county weirdos

Oh, didn't see that in your op. Games are in a few days. The hell with your hypothetical. Real life is upon us.

We don’t need two non-power conference teams in the CFP.

If Louisville beats FSU, Bama beats Georgia and Texas wins against OSU. They're both getting in along with the winner of the PAC and Michigan.

The only way this comes in to play is if Michigan, Washington, FSU, Texas, and Alabama all win, the odds of which are pretty small. In that scenario, there will be a tense debate. If Michigan, Washington, or FSU lose, then the debate becomes three way (if Washington loses) or moot (Alabama and Texas both get in if FSU or Michigan lose). So, you are picking the one possible scenario where Alabama wins and might not get in, just to mess with Bama fans, as a means of coping with the disastrous state of your program.
No matter what happens this weekend, we beat your sorry, whiny, self-deluded butts for the fourth year in a row, and next year will be no different. And there ain’t shite you can do about it.

Agreed. We’re doing hypotheticals where chalk holds and the favorites win but alabama upsets Georgia.
It probably won’t work out that way but interesting to talk about.

Very simple. A Bama win over #1 Georgia NOW, trumps a early season loss to a lesser ranked Texas. This prove Bama is one of the best 4 teams.....And for the record, ALL the highly ranked rivalry games last week were close in final score.
