If Tennessee wins today

You have to at least put us into consideration for running the table for the East next year? I know Iowa isn't the most prestigious program in the world but this win today is a lot more than just a game.
On the other note, if UT looses today I will be really doubtful headed into next season.
Go vawlssss

Vols haven't beat Georgia in 5 years or Florida in 10 years. I don't see that changing. Tennessee knows they're inferior. It's in their heads

Being also an Iowa fan, I don't think a Vol win would mean much. Iowa had as easy a schedule possible, not having to play Ohio St, Michigan St or Michigan.
Iowa also did not beat an FBS team with a winning record this year. Of course, beating Tennessee would not change that.
I live about 3 hours from Jacksonville, and will be staying home to watch it on TV.
Ferentz has over-stayed his time. Way too conservative with the 2* & 3* players.

Let me get this straight:
If UT beats Iowa...we should assume they'll beat Missouri, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida?

I doubt the Vols run the table next year in the East. Does that mean they won't make some noise next year and possibly finish close to the top of the East? Not at all.
The Vols need at least a split out of the Georgia and Florida games. Mizzou and USCe need to have average or down years. Those cards fall into place then the Vols make a run at the East but probably come up short. Which is an encouraging sign for the program going forward.

I think the East will be there for the taking next year. I wouldn't favor the Vols, but they'd have to be the dark horse.
Couldn't hurt to have a good game today.
Good luck, Tenner.

I'm friends with the Sealby family. Reid plays o-line for Iowa. They are originally from my town I grew up in northern Illinois.

I thought you guys were predicting that already.

Iowa is terrible. Ferentz will aggressively chew a wad of gum while periodically writing jibberish on a piece of paper throughout the game when his team fricks up. Gets arse kicked. Collects paycheck. Goes home. Rinse and repeat.

So your pinning a win/loss vs Iowa...frickin IOWA...on whether or not the Vols run the table in the East next year vs being doubtful going into the season?
C'mon man
C'mon man

If Tennessee loses today you have to at least put yourself in consideration for going 0-6 in the East next year, right?
