You're free to have your opinion, but my OP hardly qualifies me as an idiot. In fact, I think it shows that you can't form a rational thought in that stubby, necklace, mishaped anomaly that sits atop your shoulders.

Not really. UT is a shitty team. Watched them all year, even went to the bowl game against Iowa. Sorry buddy, but next year will be Mizzou and UGA running away with the East. UGA will do all they can to frick it up as they typically do but they'll still beat out (improved) UK and UT.

There are some great Vol posters on here and some horrid ones. I'm sure a lot of lurkers will create accounts though.

Beleive what you want, but UT is not a shitty team. UT is a young team that played above expectations and ended the season on a high note. With the most returning starters in the league, a good quarterback, a solid defense, and another highly ranked recruiting class coming in with some immediate impact JUCOs, we are absolutely poised to make some noise next year.

Yeah, I'm not saying we're gonna win the east, but we definitely have a better chance than UK

You see, this here's the problem. The problem is a 7 win season was way above expectations. That should tell you something. Tenn just isn't any good. Now they might be alright in 2015 but sure as shite not good enough to win the East. Y'all are seriously delusional.

That's crazy.
Vandy has no shot, Kentucky has next to no shot. SC likely is not going to be a factor. Florida probably has an outside chance.
UT has a legitimate chance. Id pick them third right now, but if things break the right way they could win it.

I'm predicting UAB will defeat Kentucky next year.

How many Kentucky games did you watch? Be honest.
Kentucky finishes around 4th in the East.

Tenn is on the rise and after a decade of disappointment, they are due.

This is a team that had a quarterback identity problem, 2 true freshmen on the Same side of the offensive line, a slew of injuries to our WR corps, a serious lack of SEC depth, and a reliance upon a large number of freshmen and sophomores in key positions. This will not be the case next year. UT has talent, experience, and momentum going into next season against a division suffering from Lots of coaching and roster attrition. and if you don't recognize that then you are aggresively retarded.

I'm actually aware of all that, which I mentioned, but I guess you got confused by all the words. UT will be improved, but still not very good.

I agree, I think they have an equal chance to win the east as anyone. Even the mighty zoo
Posted on 1/12/15 at 12:40 am to thesoccerfanjax
Well I'm gonna have to disagree. We have one of the better returning QBs in the SEC, a very talented backfield and receiving corp, a very good front seven including one of the best defensive lines in the conference and a solid defensive backfield including the #1 JUCO CB. In addition we have a very good special teams unit with the exception of an unproven punter. Our young line will benefit from a year of S&C and the addition of actual tackles (Our line this season was four guards and a center due to injuries). We'll be fine next year and we'll have a good shot at representing the east in Atlanta.

Looks like you're pretty much the only person who thinks that.

Several. I think 4th is just about their ceiling if everything goes right. More likely 6th though.

Hilarious how a once proud program can totally forget where they came from.
A ton of them have little to no memory of their glory days.
