OL play would have doomed any QB.
It is strange so many football fans on this website fail to realize that.
The LT was a turnstile. Ratlidge and Fairchild had false starts. The OL couldn't establish the run.
Tom Brady could have been back there and it wouldn't have mattered. I hope a new OC brings in a goon of an OL coach like Matt Luke or Pittman.

I agree. I think Georgia pissed this one away. But Notre Dame won’t care and nor should they. That’s football. Hope they beat nasty arse Penn State

Who wants to go to Georgia if you are a WR when you never have a premiere QB? It’s not like LSU where you are going to raise your stock for the NFL. You are playing with the Stetson Bennett and Carson Becks of the world.
It’s why AD Mitchell came to Texas to catch balls from Ewers (whose stock was super high at the time as one of the up and coming QBs) versus staying with his team that just won a natty!
