He probably plays sparingly-- only in blowouts in 2007 then steadily works his way on to the squad-- remember his less talented brother started at a small school tore it up then ended up as a starter at Duke so I have to think Steph starts by the end of his freshman year everywhere in the SEC but Florida and Kentucky.

Steph Curry
Nick Calathes
Chandler Parsons
Marreese Speights
Walter Hodge
Jai Lucas
Alex Tyus
Dan Werner
2008 Curry could have led that NIT year team pretty far in the tournament.... possibly the 3-peat?

God, I'd forgotten how good that team was. This is a nightmarish list.

Grant probably would have fricked up his stroke.

The passing between these three would have been really entertaining.

Good point....
If your school had signed Steph Curry, you also get pretty good dibs on Seth (unless he didn't want to follow his bro's path).

The one year where we would have him, Chris Lofton and Jajuan Smith would be ridiculous. We would have legitimately hit like 25 threes a game.

If he was just one year older the 2007 Florida team with him would have legitimately been a GOAT contender instead of just arguably the best SEC team in decades. Hump and Steph bombing 3s a defensive force and super athlete on the perimeter and 2 Top 10 at their position for a decade types on the interior-- that's insane.

LSU won the SEC in 2009 and lost to eventual national champ UNC in the NCAAs while giving them their toughest game of the entire tournament. I'm going to assume he could have helped.

Would that year's coaching staff ruin him?
Yep
