Jimmy Sexton will be the next coaches agent. And the next coach will be known by the powers that be, including Saban.

Sark has a lot of respect and appreciation for Saban and Alabama for giving him a second chance when everyone else was kicking him while he was down. If Saban or the school picked up the phone he would take the call. Don’t worry though Saban isn’t going anywhere because he just loves coaching and he is happy doing it still. As long as he is on top he will coach several more years. When he has a couple of years where you see real decline then you will know it’s coming.

I have no doubt they will try if Sark maintains his success at Texas when they join the SEC, but Texas is not a school you leave if your winning. They can pay him and his staff as good or better than anyone, and it is easy to recruit to Texas when you are winning. He would rarely even have to leave the state for recruits. They can get the money to build the facilities any way he wants..Plus, it's in Austin. No lack of beauty in most of that area. But, who knows, just saying I don't think it would be easy to pry him away if he's already having success at Texas. No reason to go do a possible rebuild or partial rebuild at another school when you already built it where you are at.

I’m just saying that Alabama has a pull on him that no other place does. It would probably tear him up trying to make that decision. Sark figured it out and got himself in order and is a very good coach. He has the the utmost respect and appreciation for the shot the Saban and Bama gave him. That just can’t be glossed over because without that shot then Sark isn’t where he is at today.

You have been dealing with this for 18 years. You have not let go. I don’t know if anything will help.

I think you'd more likely have more luck finding the next Sark or Kirby on Saban's staff when he decides to leave. Maybe he would find or is now actively looking for a young up and coming coach he can mold for the job...

Houston Nutt has been patiently waiting for Saban to recommend him again.

Do you really want all Alabama fans to go away? It is great for your traffic.

I don’t think there is a person on staff right now that is ready for that big of a jump. There has been talk at times that Saban might retire and become AD. After he won one or two Nattys a few years ago that was talked about. No matter if Saban ever makes that move or not I have to imagine he will be asked to recommend his successor and I guarantee you the name he gives will be Sark. Saban has a lot of respect for him because he fought to turn his life around. Saban thinks he is a great coach. If Sark keeps on winning he may very well get that call one day.

I mean the only coach that’s older than Saban In d1 or NFL is Mack brown lol. Pete Carrol and Saban are the same age and are the oldest coaches. 1-2 more years MAX dude and they are done.

He is not a Democrat. His voter registration from 2008 in Tuscaloosa county identifies him Republican.

Exactly. I think it's the one call he would definitely take. I think he would be more likely to leave if Saban was the AD there but regardless it's a call he would take not that he would leave.
Frankly I welcome other schools trying to take our coaches because it means we're successful I'll take that any day of the week.
The one thing we have in our favor is the fact that I can't imagine anyone jumping at the chance to replace the goat. That's going to be the toughest job in the country replacing that guy.

Hypothetically, let’s say he wins the natty and decided to retire after this season. Regardless of who his replacement would be, how many kids do you think would transfer?

I’m not trying to troll but I feel like a lot of bama’s talent stems from other states and without Saban there I feel like a lot of kids especially with NIL and the portal now would transfer. Just curious what it would take to keep the majority of them there and the wheels on the wagon.

Why are LSU fans really want this to happen ASAP?
