First off congrats on a thread that made it this far... Now let's talk about Missouri.
1 1/2 years in and thinking they are da shite because they won the east when 1/2 the teams were more beat up than Nancy Kerrigan. This is like bragging about winning a race against someone on crutches... (insert slow clap here)

how do you figure this? schools like USC, UGA, Florida and Tennseesse have much larger student populations than OM, so even if OM takes a higher %, those schools will take more # from out-of-state. and i wouldn't consider your out-of-state feeder of Memphis high schools as making you nationally known, unless they're putting "hoddy toddy" stickers on the packages at the FedEx terminal.

I don't think you understand Missouri at all. We LOVE being the outcast. We thrive as underdogs and we're damn proud to march to the beat of our own drum, and not some "old south" fantasy that no longer exists.

No one can get Arkansas rattled because they've been shitty for a couple of years and they only come out of the troll cave when 1) they're somewhat competitive or they've accomplished a huge upset, or 2) when there is a huge scandal.
Otherwise, they retreat to the safety of the Arkansas Board cave and await a glimmer of hope to rustle their slumber. If you have no idea what that means, let me paint your simple mind a more common picture - imagine a hybernating bear in the winter.
