Nah! We need a Derek Dooley type to permanently end booster involvement and meddling within the athletic department, i.e., someone that's so bad at their job that we're forced to wander through the wilderness for the next 10-20 years before emerging on the other side as a stronger Auburn, etc. Just think of it as a detoxification process.

Employment in the Alabama red light district will remain depressed.

Worry about your coach.

Dear Lord please let this happen… “Prime Time on the Plains”… the 30 for 30 writes itself.

The recent debacle with Harsin was two boosters wanting different guys (Steel and Freeze). The president and AD tried a compromise candidate, it did not work. Stupid, stupid hire by the AD who had FULL CONTROL. I like it better when the boosters help make the decision, they are then invested and help fund NIL. Every successful program has big time, big money Boosters. It is required.

I don't know that you'll be getting anyone of quality considering that Auburn has a bad reputation for firing coaches. This time it was before the dude even has a full 2 years under his belt.

Solid take. I’ve tried to find anything to defend BH but I’ve got nothing. He’s in over his head. He had no idea what the job required when he was hired. We’re usually in the top 12 in recruiting. He’s at the bottom in recruiting. He has not addressed any of our current needs in the portal. It will take 2-3 years to recover from what he has done to our program. He has to go and it needs to be sooner than later
