I'd replace USC with another team, but if UGA gets beat down by LSU maybe no SEC team should go?
Or the eye test could help leapfrog Bama into it as SEC representative?

Which was clearly wrong
the LA newspaper based in LA gave the USC trojans a "championship".
the BCS (the system all schools agree upon before the season started) was the only valid trophy at the end of the year.

One less win, 11-2 vs 12-1...

LSU wins for its 4th legit title
*2 loss titles aren't legitimate.
He's not counting that 2007 title, otherwise he would have said 5th legit title. LSU already has 4 (1959, 2003, 2007, 2019)

What the frick do you not understand about the BCS?
The BCS was determining FBS championships in 2003. LSU won the BCS championship game.
You really are a high school dropout, aren't you?
The AP doing that in 2003 and Auburn getting jobbed in 2004 is why the AP was replaced with the Harris Poll in 2005.

If that only counts for half a championship, then somebody needs to inform the other 10 teams that won it at some point or another.
If 2003 was a half title, so was Alabama's 1978 title, their 1973 title, and their 1965 title as well as Auburn's 1957 title.

USC is respected. There is no way a 12-1 PAc12 champ USC is left out. Not a chance. College football desperately wants USC to matter again.
