East Texas A&M would give the SEC a presence near DFW area...
Their nickname is the Lions, so no overlap.
Gender breakdown of student population:
Female: 62.47%
Male: 37.53%
Its football program has won two national championships: the 1972 NAIA national championship and the 2017 NCAA Division II national championship. How many current SEC teams have two or more legit national titles in that time span?
Oh, and they beat Oklahoma in basketball last night!

I think I get where you are going with this, but for those who are taking you seriously:
When Tiger Stadium opened in 1924, it had a larger capacity than their stadium does today.
