That's true. Just hard to imagine Tulane.
It was just as difficult to imagine Baylor and TCU, I promise.

Tulane in the Big 12 would hurt LSU far more,

Neither. SEC schools can still sell SEC competition.
It hurts the Big 12 schools in the state the most.

This guy gets it. Especially if Herman stays at Houston.

Alabama seems to do pretty well with Auburn in the same state and vice versa...
Tulane joining the Big 12 would be like Vandy in the SEC...and it appears that Tennessee has no problem recruiting that state...guarantee LSU will be just fine

What a hilariously dumb thing to say.

If Herman was to stay at Houston I could see them becoming a legit threat to many schools. How much to LSU I have no idea, could be some impact but I don't think it would be too much.
I just don't see Herman staying there much longer, wouldn't be surprised to see him take another job after this season.

If Houston goes P5 I see no reason for him to leave. He obviously likes it there because he has had opportunities, and he is paid well by lower school standards. They would be able to offer him more to stay, and he can win there

I don't actually think it hurts either of them. I do think it hurts the rest of the B12 schools. Their entire conference is based 80% of Tex recruits. A£M and LSU have an SEC pitch that works often times against the B12, now you just add one more to it. If anything I think it waters down the B12 brand much like over printing money devalues the dollar.

Houston is a commuter school with a 30000 sear stadium.

Hopefully we can give A&M back to the Big 12

Well you do bring up a good point that I didn't think about.

The Big 12 is really reaching these days. What does Houston provide that they don't already have with the other million Texas schools in the conf?

More inventory and more guaranteed money from ESPN and Fox.

The talent is so over-saturated in Houston, it wouldn't mean a lick.
The teams it would hurt are those in UH's current conference; they'd lose the Houston market.

It would hurt aTm more ... Houston already out recruits the Aggies so this would devastate them in the Houston area.
LSU gets whoever they want in Htown.

1. Neither
2. I am very skeptical of UH to the Big 12.

Would not affect Texas A&M. UH has a 30k seat stadium
