If Houston to the big12, who does it hurt more? LSU or aTm?

Both programs recruit the Houston area aggressively, which program will suffer more from Houston joining a Power 5 conference and why?

LSU will be fine. They always have been in terms of recruiting

I doubt it would affect us at all

Neither. No one with enough skill to play sec football will pick any big 12 school. Unless they're a homer, in which case it wouldn't matter.

Arkansas more, Houston is about on your level

And we wonder why we get the same topics every off season

Neither. The Big 12 turning into another SWC is good for us all.

Texas. LSU and Texas A&M can recruit against being in the Big 12.

A&M, unfortunately. The more Power 5 programs in the state, the more it hurts A&M. Tulane in the Big 12 would hurt LSU far more, though.

LSU has never competed with Tulane in recruiting and I doubt it would do much of anything if Tulane joined.

So all those 4 and 5 star recruits that go to OU and Texas must just be talentless homers...I'm sure OU would have loved to trade rosters with alighty A&M last year lolololol

The Big 12 would legitimize Tulane Football. I think we'd see some effect

Houston is Herman doesn't leave is gonna turn into a power house like tcu or Baylor that emerged from nowhere. They got 1 year left of ward then we get to see what a 5 star like Kyle Allen does in his system and slowly they're getting recruit. A couple nfl dbs recently drafted highly and now a top recruit on the d line. The problem is Houston isn't a party school everyone lives at home and commutes to school so it's not a fun atmosphere like other schools. The stadium is small as well but were the 4th biggest city in the country and definitely have the instate talent to compete especially if Baylor falls off a cliff as I imagine they will post briles. Those guys will go to tcu,uh,Texas. It all depends on how serious Herman is but I imagine he bolts for ut when they dump strong or lsu if we dump miles

If Herman stays he can make that program into something. If he can get the "local" guys to go to UH watch out. I have love for Ward he's from the 903.

What the frick are you talking about? That's like saying A&M competes with Blinn.

Except Blinn isn't in a power 5 conference. Tulane in the Big 12 would be a HUGE negative for LSU.

Because you've never had another Power 5 program in the state, you wouldn't understand what it's like.
