They lost one of their best defensive players to an injury recently. I'm not sold on Indiana having the depth to continue being the #1 team when star players go down.

That’s why I don’t see them winning a title either

But I can’t see them losing to OU, and not to Bama with the way Bama has been playing the past month

Actually, a balance among: offense, defense and special teams wins championships.
Exhibits A & B are Georgia's back to back NCs in 2021 & 2022.

With how long the seasons are one of the biggest keys is staying healthy now

Which is why OSU and IU having a lot of weak teams on their schedule is an unfair advantage. Look up the number of snaps their starters play compared to everyone else. They get to stay fresh and minimize injury risk

Someone seems to not like the fact that OU is in the playoffs. Keep crying, it'll all be OK.

They give up 430 yards to bama last time, they are going to lose to Bama this time.

Is the goal to allow fewer yards or fewer points?

Bama had to gain 20.5 yards for every single point.

OU only had to gain 9.2 yards for every single point.

I mean come on. Defense is not about yards given up its about preventing your opponent from scoring more than your team.

Let’s flip this. Alabama had 406 yards of offense and only scored 21 points. Thats criminal right.

All this yard BS from Bama fans is just that, a losing argument. Some Bama fans can’t admit or digest they lost a home homecoming game where they vowed revenge from 2024. And now all they argue is yards lolol. Weak. A blue-blood doesn’t argue for weeks like that. Keep on mind its just a few vocal Bama fans most are not that way.

All I know is OU had years of the best offenses and QBs in college football. And SEC said they’d slow us down in playoffs. And you know what, they did. Fast forward and now its flipped. We have the defense and are going to see how it does. We’re not a complete team and our O has been stagnant. But film shows the plays were there and either balls dropped or qb was off. I think our qb is healthy again and some wrs back as well. Just need enough to win and advance.

Looking forward to a great game. Atmosphere will be unrivaled. First ever playoff game at home. Thats a new stat category and we made it thru a tough arse schedule. Will be loud and proud on Fri night!

I don't see them beating Alabama in the rematch.

Alabama's a dangerous matchup, because regardless of how they've been playing, they have the talent to beat anyone.

They held Oregon to 13 offensive points and OSU to 10.

They also barely beat Iowa and Penn State.

I don't think any team this year is some kind of unbeatable juggernaut.

Not that I think Alabama's in the position to upset them, but at the same time it wouldn't seem too crazy considering how this season has gone.
