If Clemson was in SEC, there would probably be 3 SEC teams in the playoffs some years, given the hype that already exists for the SEC.

I never see people who complain about ACC being weak propose moving some of the better SEC programs to the ACC and sending Duke, Wake, etc to the SEC.

See, here's the problem Clemson has. They have to get by UGA and one West Opponent.

Knowing the SEC Office, they either get sent to Baton Rouge or Auburn, and then have to probably play Alabama in Atlanta to win the conference if they get by all that.

Alabama. NOT Pitt. And Alabama will NOT be happy with them.

Is he? He has Venables and some damn good football players and a 2 game schedule to win it all. Switch UGA and Clemson and see how it might shake out. Dabo wan an idiot according to some the year before last Jan when he caught Bama in the first round of the playoffs with both having time to game plan. CU wound up with F-O-U-R. Not touchdowns but first downs....in the game.

Look Dabo is a great worker and coach but they don't have as strong a roster as does UGA now nor will they have as long as Kirby Smart is at UGA and the UGA admin is giving Kirby unlimited funds (by far the most in America) to throw at recruiting. And they have the high holy ground in state to recruit from, most all of whom want to go to UGA first or play in the SEC second. They are starting to lose some players in state because they have too much young talent

ya'll make Fromm out like he is Peyton Manning.

UGA couldn't beat Alabama last year despite Tau having horrible rotten no good stats.

why is it assumed UGA would beat Clemson.

Alabama didn't play in the SEC title game the year Clemson beat Miami in the ACC title game with Kelly Bryant, and got Alabama in the 1st round.

Alabama had more time to gameplan for Clemson but never heard the Alabama homers talk about this.

Can we do that?

That's a great idea.

Let's trade Bama and Mizzou to the ACC in exchange for Duke and a school to be named later. Though honestly, let's just add West Virginia. It's time to bring those country roads home. We'll add them to the West to replace Bama because they have West in their name so it works.

Rename the ACC the Alabama Champions Conference. I think they deserve that much. Division names like Leaders and Losers or whatever the Big Televen called it. Something distinguished but not too long. I think you know where the plaques for second place will go.

This is going to be great. I'll get the Change.org petition started.

The point is, if you played their schedule you wouldn't have a damn cake walk. You'd see much better teams that could actually beat you year in and year out.

Alabama won its game by a wider margin than Clemson last year but you get on here an huff and puff about how awesome your conference is.

If your conference is so awesome, why do you expect Alabama to win every game.

You say ACC sucks but an ACC team has won the title 3 out of the past 6 years. The SEC only has 2, both Alabama.

What's funny is 3 years ago, UNC only had 1 loss going into the ACC title game with Clemson and MIami only had 1 loss going into ACC title game with Clemson.

Miami would have made the playoffs if they beat Clemson and UNC would have been close and possibliy got in depending on outcomes of other games.

The Va Tech team that Clemson played in the ACC title game was also very good. That team was ranked that year.

It seems like you guys don't know anything about college football outside of the SEC.

You guys make a 4 loss Pitt team in the ACC title game as the norm but that isn't in the case. Pitt also played one of the t oughest schedules last year... Penn State, at Miami, UCF and Clemson. They only had one bad loss to UNC.

They lost to UVA who beat SC 28-0 in a bowl game.

The ACC has come close to putting 5 different ACC teams into the playoffs in the past 6 years.

48-14 Clemson.

great you have a all time winning record against clemson they used to suck. Play them last year, this year, next year doesnt matter when they would easily beat you. Look what they did to Alabama who also beat you (at basically your home field).

Thanks to Jalen Hurts. UGA would have won the game if Tua had stayed in.

How do you know they would have played as hard against UGA? I mean they had something to prove against Alabama from the beat down Bama gave to them the year before. This is basically saying that if Vanderbilt beat Auburn and Alabama lost to Auburn that Vandy would be better than Alabama.
