Technically Ole Miss should as they would have the same conference record and they win the head to head tie breaker, but i think LSU goes to the better bowl. They have been ranked all season as well as receiving more publicity. I think any bowl would rather have LSU as the bowl would then receive more publicity.

LSU

We've been the highest ranked 1 loss, 2 loss, and 3 loss team at one point this season.

If we win out, I'll gladly accept a 2nd tier bowl like cotton, chicken or outback. The decline is unreal.

Ole Miss would receive just as much publicity I think. Ole Miss will bring the fans for sure too.

Ole Miss should because we would bring more fans. LSU wouldn't bring as many because a lot of their fans would be disappointed.

I think Ole Miss travels the best in the SEC, i went to the BBVA compass bowl and it was pretty much a home game. Birmingham was completely unprepared. But I still think since LSU has received more publicity, thats who the bowl will choose

In 2001, Ole Miss beat Alabama and they had a better record

Ole Miss did not make a bowl. Alabama did.

Ole Miss was 7-4, Alabama was 6-5.

My first thought was LSU, but a bowl might gamble that Ole Miss would travel better this year.

I stand corrected. I was going off memory. It further proves my point that the bowls hate Ole Miss.

There's an old joke that supposedly a Sugar Bowl exec used to tell:

Ole Miss fans bring two things to a game - a 20-dollar bill and a copy of the ten commandments. And they don't break either one.

Doesn't matter. LSU will not win out. Texas A&M by 14.

Sorry. that's just the way I see it. just an opinion.

The way Ole Miss travels and wins bowls, I'm pretty sure they don't hate us.

Even though it would be complete bullshite, LSU for sure. Honestly if we win out and LSU loses another game, I still think it's likely they go to a better bowl game.

I can't think of a bigger lie ever told on this board. We bring tons of cash and tons of sin. That is the exact opposite of all my bowl experiences.

Ole Miss sold out the beer at Legion Field before halftime. Pretty much all concessions were sold out.

What is and once was are two different things.

Back when we were going to Sugar Bowls this may have very well been true.

If both won out, I think Ole Miss would go to the Peach and LSU to the Cotton, both bowls are about equal.
