Sims won't see the field next year except in mop up duty.

Don't y'all think Bama may run the same type of offense Auburn employs next season with Sims, if he makes it to No. 1?
Sims will not be the starting QB at Alabama unless there are injuries... will not happen...

Then, who will start? Saban likes the experience thing. And, I would think there would be some sort of package with Sims in any rate.
Plus, would Bama embrace Kiffin if he came in as OC or QB coach? He was there for a week recently.

Alabama would probably win about 7 times IMHO. Saban's defense would adjust to Malzahn's offense. This is analogous to what happened with the Wishbone offense back in the day and Paul Johnson's triple option at GT. When GT first used this offense in the ACC, they were darn near unstoppable. But as their opponents played them over the years, their defenses learned to how neutralize the triple option.

Danny O'Shea: When we were kids. We used to race our bikes down Cherry Hill every day after school. We raced every day and he always beat me, but one time, one time... I beat him.
Jake Berman: You beat Kevin down Cherry Hill?
Danny O'Shea: Yes, I did. He ate my dust.
Johnny Vennaro: Big deal. One time.
Tad: You know, one time at Randy Cooper's swim party, I did a backflip off the high dive, and my brother chickened out.
Marcus: Roger chickened out? He's a Marine!
Rudy Zolteck: Ah, that's nothing! One time at the spring carnival, I beat both of my brothers in the Cow Dung Toss.
Tad: You beat Matt and Brett in the turd toss?
Jake Berman: You know, one time I went fishing with my entire family, and I was the only one that didn't throw up.
Marcus: So, what? It still doesn't make us good football players.
Danny O'Shea: Well, wait a second, guys. Who said you had to be good to play football? You play football because you want to. You play football because it's fun. You play football so you could pretend you're Joe Montana throwing a touchdown pass, or Emmitt Smith going for a long run. And even if those Cowboys are better than you guys, even if they beat you 99 times out of 100, that still leaves...

Auburn is better than Alabama this year. The faster you guys just swallow that down and accept it, the quicker your arse is going to heal.
It does not happen every year but sometimes, Auburn is just a better overall team.
This year is one of those years

I started the exact same thread right after the game and the Auburn folks came unglued. The truth can be a bitch.

The real question should be if we played LSU 10 times without rain, how many wins. I think we both know, deep down, that the SEC champs would take most of those.
Bro, major props for beating your rival and being in the BCSNCG. But please stop letting your Bama show. You got mud stomped, plain and simple. End of story.
Best of luck against FSU.

What's the truth? You trying to claim a hypothetical moral victory?

There was only one fan base that came unglued after the Iron Bowl and it wasn't Auburn son.

Auburn people here: Nick Marshall had obvious problems throwing the ball this season at times, but the dude has a rocket for an arm. If he improves his passing, doesn't that really open up what the coach wants for this offense? In other words, this is really a work in progress, isn't it?
A former Auburn player told me that before each game, Auburn's head coach walks down the enitre sideline calling out numbers. He finally figured out that he was calling plays for each yard mark in his head to circumstances he was creating in his mind. Then, he added: "but nobody really knows what he's going to do in any one circumstance with play-calling or decision-making, which makes him all that more dangerous."

Nah, let them keep thinking they were better but just didn't have the guts, balls, or mental fortitude to beat us. Makes em hurt worse when they have to justify the loss by noting their team is a bunch of underacheiving pussies at the end of the day.

Auburn averaged 5.7 yards per rush and Alabama averaged 6.2 yards per rush....and "Auburn ran the ball down Bama's throat"?...Really?
