Sorry Porky. You don't require a D to spell Arky or piggie.

There's no more more room in the SEC for good defenses. We full.

Really ? I seem to remember those two stout defenses dominating your offense.

So while a great defense is key, your Young OLine and veteran WR's didn't help much.

You forget so easily that the Hogs are 3-2 vs LSU over the last 5.

And in those years LSU has two SEC Championships and one NC. What did the Swines win during that time?

Should have Done it last year. Lost a lot of offensive playmakers

Offensive playmakers wont be a problem under Petrino. I think everyone realizes that defense is the elephant in the room at this point. Last year was a tough year to do it also with Bama and LSU being as strong as they were and playing both on the road with a poor O-line and no running game.

I think we'll see a lot of improvement this year. We do have a new DC and he appears to be making a lot of needed changes. I guess we'll see.

Going back to Louisville people questioned Petrino's depth on offense mentioning that probably the best cornerback on his squad was lingering on the depth chart as the third team wideout,

This is true to some extent but I don't think it will take Bama and LSU "dropping off" as much as it will take a significant improvement in our defensive play.

Do this, and maintain the offense, and we'll have one heck of trio in the West.

Petrino is a great coach and could win a title if he were a slightly better recruiter and had some more talent to work with, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Saban could win a title at Arkansas, but I don't think BP is capable

Who else could you have put there that week? All the teams in front of Ark lost and Ark benefitted by moving up. Much like the way LSU got back into the '07 national title race.

I wondered too how that got ranked so high with two blowout loses and two squeakers against Ole Miss & Vandy

Nope. Our offense is gonna score points on anyone. They've never been shut out.

Our offensive line is a concern. And it has nothing to do with being young.

Only had one loss at that point. Fell out of the top 5 after the LSU loss, but climbed back up after beating KSU.

Having LSU and Bama at home this year we should win at least one of them if not both but if we get hammered again this year by both Bama and LSU then we should come to the realization that Bear Bryant, Jimmy Johnson, Hell the great Vince Lombardi could not ever win a National Championship for us.

We have to just win one of them and that is it. Punch Saban in the mouth or trip Les when he gets off the bus. Whatever it takes to get one of those games we must do.

Feel free to do the "punch" thing. That would give me a warm fuzzy feeling inside.

If the OP was an LSU or Bama fan, this would be the whole "obvious troll is obvious". Now, we have piggies realizing what we've known for years. I love it.

I think it's funny as Hell how LSU fans think that they were in any way relevant prior to the 21st century.

Oh, and the OP is a dumbass. That is all...
