What happens if they beat Bama & LSU but get clipped by an Auburn and/or Mississippi State will they riot ?

We had years we beat both Ohio State and Michigan but got nicked by an Iowa or a Michigan State.

This is the kind of post that will embarass any Arkansas fan. You must be the kind of nerd that walks around with a kick me sign on his back. Only in your case, you put the sign there yourself. Jeez

If I am coaching an Auburn or Miss State, I run with the bulletin board material that the Hogs do not consider us a challenge

Not sure if you are laughing in the face of danger out of foolishness or pure lunacy. I suspect the latter.

You forget so easily that the Hogs are 3-2 vs LSU over the last 5.

hell yeah. but we all know it wont work. They SMOKED everyone not named alabama or lsu ast year.

except, you know,
Troy 38-28
A&M 42-38
ole miss 29-24
vandy 31-28.........but of course, those teams were pretty damned good

Quite a realistic outlook you have.

Being a puss isn't realism. I'm sure you hope Arkansas has peaked but that isn't the case Boudreaux.

You will go broke in Vegsa with that line of thinking.

Didn't read everyone's comments but I to say "never" is one hell of a statement. I mean who knows whats going to happen. Sometimes in a relatively short amount of time.

I mean look at 13-14 years ago. SC was going through what would be a 1-21 stretch while UT had just won a national title. Just last season SC had its 1st ever 11 season and UT lost to UK for the 1st time in a quarter-century in the midst of one of the worst stretches of UT football.

Its not to knock UT but just a point of you never know whats going to happen and don't always know what direction programs will turn.

Win or Lose what Arkansas gets playing LSU & Bama is the national exposure on TV (not espn8) they need to sell the 'brand' to recruits.

I would call it a success if they were to lose with honor to the big boys instead of the blowouts they suffered last year

This is why I hate it when people say that they'd rather lose in a blow out than in a heartbreaking fashion.
1) Do you really want to be sitting in a stadium going into the 4th knowing you've already lost?
2) Its hard to sell to recruits that "we're competing" (for whatever goal) as you get your arse handed to you.

both lsu and bama have proven that a team can just not show up for a game. ark is certainly capable of winning both those games but that's not the issue. the problem is being better than both of them for an entire season. bama is going to be very, very tough. lsu got upgrades at the only two weak positions, lb and qb, and the schedule is slightly easier. that's tough for ark to beat.

3 wins by a grand total of 11 points. LSU's win this year alone was by 24 points.

When Arkansas beats LSU, it's barely.

Oh, and LSU is 6-3 against Arkansas over the last 9 years. I can play that game, too.

Edit: To stay on point, I don't know if Arkansas will win it as long as Bama and LSU stay dominant.

I disagree. You've shown in the past that you can win the west (then get whooped by the east, but make it to ATL anyway). The problem is that bama and LSU are really, really strong right now. It sucks because this is one of your best eras too, but you're going to have trouble with those 2 being so high right now. Yall will eventually win the west again, someday..but it will be in large part due to bama and lsu dropping off some.

This is true to some extent but I don't think it will take Bama and LSU "dropping off" as much as it will take a significant improvement in our defensive play.
