Look Bama fans know you LSU fans are pulling for OKIE ST. to jump Bama cuz you guys know it would be a for sure win as the SEC has won the last 5 BCS Championships so it would be 100% lock for a win for LSU ,BUT you also know that if LSU has to play Bama it knocks your % down to 50 so of course you would want to play OKIE ST. Look I don't blame you if I was an LSU fan I wouldn't want to have to play Bama in a Championship either as we have never played in a BCS Championship game and lost it.

Hoyt, your the typical Alabama fan that can't say congrats you beat us and good luck. We beat you get over it.

we threw two interceptions you had a chance and could not convert on the turn overs.

our player went up and stole the ball on the interception, but you still think that YOU WON

You had the chance to score several field goals and you MISSED, and you think you still WON

You coach put in somebody who could barely walk to return a punt, Out coached, and you think you still won

Your QB got sacked to take you out of field range, and you claim you still won

We held you all star stud running back to just 80 yards rushing. and you think you still won

Get over it you had your chance and you fukn lost. I personally want to Alabama in New Orleans, we would drill you all in the mouth this time. And then next year we beat you in Baton Rouge that would three wins in ONE YEAR and definately send Nick Saban to Texas to replace Mac Brown.

Oh and by the way, WE WON THE GAME OF THE CENTURY!

No. I for one want that November 5th game to mean something. If bama goes to the ship, the "biggest game in 40 years" meant nothing and that's a slap in the face to Lsu.

Hoyt stuff like this is exactly why people refer to BAMA as arrogant pricks.

Seriously stop playing college football because Bama does not get into the Championship game?

I have joked a bit on this site about a rematch but seriously believe Bama is 2nd best team.

If you don't get in the BCS game part of it will be voters that have SEC fatigue.

But part of it will be Bama's arrogant attitude. Claiming bogus championships, constantly whining, acting entitled, and you know maybe just maybe when you lose a game to the #1 team in the country, simply tip your houndstooth hat. You know acknowledge the loss, offer respect to your opponent rather than claim the better team lost.

While none of the polls up on who LSU should play are scientific every one has Okie State and not Bama as the preferred opponent, despite the fact Bama is recognized as the 2nd best team (at least outside of Ttown where I am certain you recognize Bama as THE best team).

It's not a conspiracy not a travesty if you don't make it but you prolly ought to take a moment, look in the mirror and ponder if maybe just maybe some of this backlash may be due to how your program and fans act.

Having said that I believe while it will be close in the vote that Bama will make it in to play LSU. I welcome it, look forward to it and think it would be great for LSU, the city of New Orleans and the SEC.

Good Luck.

They should stop playing college football immediately. How can "experts" not vote for the two best teams in the country to compete for the ultimate prize? A game that was decided by a field goal in overtime is living proof that the two best teams are LSU and Alabama: in that order (for now). I understand we should have taken care of business, but then again Oklahoma St should have as well. Championship teams, deserving teams, do not lose to Iowa St... I can handle us not getting in and I will root for the Bayou Bengals if we do not. But we all know who is #1 and #2...Defense wins Championships.

And so we wait..

What makes college football so great is the fact that every week counts as a playoff for the national championship. Yes, every year there are exceptions, but this is the general rule. Bama hosted a head to head playoff game in Tuscaloosa late in the season and lost. You had total control and missed the opportunity. That being said, what should happen is Bama vs. Okie State in the Sugar bowl on New Year's Day or thereabouts, and the winner play LSU 1/9 in this situation. Hopefully they make some changes to this process after this year.

If Alabama beats LSU in the BCS, Southern Miss in the Sugar Bowl, or ULL in the New Orleans Bowl, something tells me that they will be claiming a national championship. Delusional assclowns!

There is absolutely NO CONCENSUS that Bama should play for a BCSMNC.

Whoever gets picked, OSU or BAMA, LSU will be ready.

I'm unconvinced that BAMA's loss:
-at home
-after a week off to prepair
-in overtime
-to a team they lost to last year

is any better than OSU's loss:
-on the road
-without time off to prepair
-in DOUBLE overtime
-days after they experienced a tragic loss.

The vote can go either way.

Listen the BCS is designed to match up 1 and 2 if Bama makes it to the DUMP in New Orleans then so be it maybe you corndogs will stop crying about who should go and focus more on your team actually showing up and if you play OKIE ST. then the SEC will AGAIN shut up the rest of those people in other conferences that think they actually know or even play football.

2006 Florida says we don't know what the outcome of the game would be because we haven't played that game. Geesh, I hope the Tigers don't think like some of you smart football analysts...

Your only argument for deserving another chance is based on the game that you lost.

How about, for once, considering and comparing the games that were won.

Many feel that the difference between Okie St. and BAMA wins is greater than their loss.

But, if you only have one point of argument, I guess you have to ride it to the end.

hoyt, no need to politic here. osu has just as much credo as anyone. my only critical take is how great it would be to have this scenario.
new years day
bama vs osu 3:30 abc rose bowl
lsu vs stanford 8pm cbs orange bowl

jan 9th
mercedes superdome - national championship game

plus 1 not a perfect fix but would definitly hep this year.

Hat's off to both LSU and Bama. I think they are the two best teams. But I do agree with most everyone. I don't want to see a rematch. It really isn't fair to LSU or OSU.

I think LSU wipes the floor with OSU. It will look alot like Arkansas. I think Bama is the only team in the country that can play with the Tigers but what's fair is fair.

Bama had their shot and honestly should have won. But some years those games go your way and some years they don't. Either way Bama had a great year and is a damn fine football team right along side LSU. They both seemed to have really seperated themselves from the rest of the SEC and at least for the future that game looks like it will decide the title and may decide the national title.

Like I said hat's off to both. But it looks like this year will go to the Tigers....
