I'll admit that I did not watch this game, but I've seen a lot of chest bumping. A few turnovers ruined any chance FSU had. It looked to be two evenly matched teams. I guess I'll try to catch the replay to see just how dominant Alabama is this year. Is there anything of significance that just doesn't show up on the box score?

Offensive lines take the most game reps to develop cohesion.

You've got talent. It seems to always develop over the course of the season. By the time you play LSU, MSU (#1 statistical defense in SEC in 2017 so far) and Auburn; you will have a clearer picture of their capabilities.

Our line is certainly a work in progress with a BIG test NOW. The development better ramp up NOW.

Sure. I'm just telling you I go to lots of college football games and watch the best defense in football week in and week out.

That FSU defense was as consistently good at 3 levels as anyone since LSU 2011. Maybe it holds up, maybe it doesn't, but that's what I saw Saturday.

I think LSU and AU both have as good of a Defense as FSU

Auburn folded like a tent in the 4th last year after covering for their offense for 3 quarters against Alabama. They gave up 500 yard of offense.

FSU never did that.

LSU is strong enough to hold Alabama to 10 points or less this season again. At the same, time our offense is a hell of a lot better because of Matt Canada. Playing Alabama again this year will be very interesting to say the least.

Every year it's something new. Why can't you guys just wait and hope? Why do you do this to yourselves loudly and in public?

tRant for months during the offseason: "FSU has the talent and depth to beat Alabama. Their defense will give them hell."

After the game: "Well obviously Alabama's offense sucks and FSU is overrated. 3 losses easily this year."

Change FSU to BYU and Alabama to LSU and nothing changes.

Don't act like it's just Alabama this happens to.

OP....you do realize that it was game 1 and usually the most improvement made is between game 1 and 2. Also, same situation at Auburn, the O-Line just needs to gel. Fortunately for Bama they have some games coming up to get that in order. Auburn unfortunately better have their shite together by this Saturday night or it could be a looooooong one.

Why do you guys always assume nothing ever changes and that Less Miles and his stone age offense will always be played by LSU? Those days are over and the LSU team today isn't the same poorly coached LSU team you guys grew so fond of anymore. Now that LSU is back, Bama's days of domination are over.

So HUGE changes and improvement for LSU because Les is gone and "LSU is back" - Back to what?

Yet Bama will lose their dominance as Saban just keeps on doing what he's been doing?

Not sure why that's funny. LSU 2016 may have been as good but I didn't see them in Baton Rouge last year. I'm guessing LSU 2017 will be as good.

Other than that, nobody else really registers. Who would you suggest?

Pump the breaks. I am also optimistic about the new offense, but let's wait and let the playing do the talking. LSU will have plenty of challenges this year and, as usual, Bama is the biggest challenge.

LSU has every reason to be excited. It just seems silly to equate excitement with "Bama done we back".

LSU looked great last weekend. Excited to see them go to Starkville in a few weeks.
