This Bama class is awesome. Not sure what you are smoking
And Nick isn’t done - with the portal - this will be a monster Bama class

A&M still has THREE 5 stars heading their way.
I like how all the mouthbreathing gumps ignore this. Y'all are getting rolled by lil ole aggy.

Hopefully we can steal Denver Harris from them though.

Or the kids see Bama signed the highest class of all time last year so by default this year will be a little "down" and will pick back up in a year.

Alabama has the highest per-player average for today's class with slots left to fill.

You are wrong because your entire premise is Georgia and Bama won't have enough money to compete with A&M and Texas. While A&M and Texas have more total resources, Bama and Georgia will gladly sell their children's souls if it means they can get an extra 5 Star Recruit. They are fully committed to winning and they will get theirs.
NIL is mainly going to affect the schools in the lower/middle who can't keep up in the arms race, not the Top 15/20 revenue programs.

Like Auburn.

These recruits may go for the NIL money, but what they really want is a ticket to the NFL. Look at how many players go to the NFL from the different schools.
That in itself is where the true recruiting prowess lies.

Yeah, nope.....
Hell, the entire State of Texas has no clue how to actually win a NC, only winning 1 since 1971

You named your handle after Stidham. You’re obviously short on brain cells

I’d venture to say this is a really bad post.

Saban will have top recruiting classes (at least top 3) until he retires
For anyone to think he won’t is foolish. Dude will be retire as THE greatest of all time in college football. Kids want to play for him, their moms and dads want them to have success in college and go pro. I thank God we have coach with a brain on the sidelines now and can hopefully start competing better than the 1-10 stretch we’ve been on with y’all that usually ends with us trying to keep it within two scores in the 4th.

Welcome to the new world of college football.
They will continue to be top 5. The brave new world is how to finish out a championship team with the magic portal. The BAMA, Georgia's of the world will get a first look at the top transfers. Now, get back to your place.

If everybody is paying ( AND YES, EVERY SCHOOL IS), why would Saban have continued success?
Nobody should be surprised or upset about the NIL thing. Players been getting paid, now there's just a legal name/process for it.
Kirby has had top recruiting classes since he got to UGA...no title.
There's no guarantee that aTm will win one soon either. They haven't even played in the SEC championship yet. Also, with the portal, it's less likely everyone they sign will stay.
Yes, NIL will attract more players to certain schools. However, those schools will also have lots of players enter the portal after a year or two because not all will get playing time. That's a FACT!
Kids want money while in college but more so, the cream of the crop want playing time which will pave the way for lots more than this NIL money.

If Kirby finds a walk-on with Georgia level talent he will play him. He is great at finding diamonds in the rough. While not a walk-on Jordan Davis was a 3 star and Ladd McConkey was not highly rated. Both are now stars. Kirby saw their potential and gave them a chance. Stetson has worked harder than any walk-on I’ve ever seen. He is mobile, fast and totally devoted to Georgia. UGA is very lucky to have him. I hate to think how we would have fared this season if we didn’t have him when JT was injured - twice. A 12-0 regular season is special and a good part of the credit goes to Stetson. A DGD!

What a nice little fantasy, Aubie. I know how hard it must be living in Bamas and Georgia’s shadow but that’s no reason to start spouting total nonsense. AU will never ever be the destination of choice for recruits that Bama and UGA are.
