Btw, LSU fans will not touch this thread except to tell you you're flat out wrong.

If you dont see benefit . . . blah blah blah . . . you are not the type of player I would want on my team

It is great to have principles..

It is greater to have a job.

Coaches will do what they have to do to keep their job.

Today that means recruiting kids in the portal some of whom opted out of playing a bowl game in mid-December.

You might also consider it from the other side, knowing a kid is going to portal his coach and team don't really need him practicing with them when he won't be there next season anyway.

Once the decision has been made best for everyone to move on.

What if these kids were paid to play for a school for a full season?

If I own a car dealership in Des Moines, I want to see Iowa State play another game. I paid to have a kid in my commercials and everyone in Iowa would see 5 of my commercials during the bowl game. Now they won't

I dont care if kid leaves after that, but he should at least do what he said he would do

If you have a contract, enforce it.

If not, suck it.

Funny how those guys who end up making the roster end up being great NFL players too.

ASU kid (team captain) couldn't be bothered to go to a banquet with his team

You're telling me he is too busy moving out of his dorm and learning a new playbook to go to a dinner? Everyone has to eat

These kids are pieces of shite

Liar.

HC’s job is to win games. You would do what was needed. Pass on players that do well elsewhere and lose games, and you’re cooked

I would look at it on a case by case basis.
