And he's from Texas.
Actually, he was born in Ohio and raised in Cali. But yes, UT is supposedly his dream job.

He mailed it in a long time ago!

If I were Miles I my response to this treatment by the LSU fanbase would be to mail it in. I would put in 40 hours a week at the office and not one extra hour.
His brain mailed it in after his 6th concussion. Then we hired him as our head football coach after our AD had a conversation with the guy. I'd like to have seen that.

Guess I am just going to need to keep posting this again and again...
If Houston is accepted as a member of the Big 12 he will not leave Houston. Why would he leave to go to Texas, LSU, A&M, Auburn or anywhere else when he has just as good if not better talent already where he is? He doesn't even need to leave home to recruit. His entire football team is from within 32 miles of Houston's campus.
Hell, he just beat the shite out of the best team in the Big 12. If they are allowed in he will run the Big 12 from right where he is at.

We heard that all off season about the Aranda hire.
How'd that work out?
Also, what have you been up to lately, bugapaintrain7?

LSU just got one step closer to Herman tonight

Not legit until DALSU puts the done deal stamp on it.

He is not from Texas:
"Herman was born in Cincinnati and still has family there, though he was raised in Simi Valley, California. Herman is Italian-American. A member of Mensa International, Herman earned his B.S. in Business Administration from California Lutheran in 1997 where he was a cum laude graduate. He was a Presidential Scholarship recipient. At California Lutheran he was an All-Southern California Athletic Conference wide receiver. He also earned a Masters of Education from Texas. Herman and his wife, Michelle, have a daughter, Priya, and two sons, Maddock and Maverick."

Funny how you guys think LSU actually has the money to do this.

I fear it might happen. I was pulling against Texas tonight. Charlie's looking pretty good after that win and that means Tom will more than likely not get an offer from Texas this year. LSU , on the other hand, will have a job opening very soon.
Bad news for Alabama if Herman goes to LSU.

Well Arandas D only gave up 16 points and had a defensive touchdown and was on the field for over 75 plays in their first game after switching from a 4-3 to a 3-4
I'm sure you would take that all day and expect your offense to score more than 16. Offense lost us that game. Plain and simple

Even funnier how you think they don't. LSU had Les' buyout fully funded with private funds with just a few phone calls and text messages. A pretty well know board chairman of one of LSU's biggest sponsors hasn't been bashful about sharing that info either. If that guy is drinking at a party he will give you the deets.

it doesn't look like charlie's going anywhere.

on top of that, houston would be his school. he would the all-time coach that made the program. not the second coming of dkr, etc.
i'm with you, if uh gets into the b12, herman isn't going anywhere.

I don't think anyone is disputing that if UH gets big 12, he stays. If Houston gets Big 12 there are a lot of teams that will be negatively affected

What does Aranda have to do with anything? 16 pts isn't bad. FYI.
