I think Georgia has good DB's, just not nearly as good as Cincinnati... Ahmad Gardner and Coby Bryant are absolute lockdowns... have seen many of their games this year and they are very, very efficient.... Hey, don't count out those LB's either and the 3 defensive lineman. Cincinnati can flat get after you. If they can force some turnovers their offense has some studs to, especially at TE and WR... Bama could win by 14+ points but I don't see it as the bearcats always seem to rise to the occasion when facing tough competition. The combination of great fundamentals coaching of those 2* and 3* (which Gardner & Bryant are) can make a difference.... The Nfl game is still compised of overwhelmingly 3* so the difference IMO will be Cinci. OL versus Bama's DL. Should be a very good game.

Yes, but what I don't understand is how Coby Bryant (the other CB) won the Jim Thorpe award...... He is excellent also but Gardner IMO is the best CB in CFB except for maybe Stingley (when his head is on straight)

What is really interesting is how two low 3* like Gardner and Bryant ( who won the best DB in CFB) could be so overlooked by the major powers. I see that they both were rate in the 1600's as top players in the country. Is it coaching??? Is it attitude????? Is it both????? Game film shows everything... Ver, very intriguing.

Both great, but Gardner is best in CFB. The talent competition level aside, he is a beast. Didn't allow a TD in 3 yrs of playing D1 foot all in a largely offensive oriented conference with regular P5 OOC matchups.

You don't need a sign. 13 games of film on that noodle arm you have at QB, and showing that your best "WR" is a TE is more than enough for opposing coaches to figure that out.
