Think about it. LSU fans animosity only appeared, towards Alabama and it's fans, after Saban left Miami to coach at Alabama.
People from the state of Louisiana have always been huge Miami Dolphins fans because Shula did some time in the military in their state. It gave them a good connection to Miami.
Well, when Saban lied and denied and cried about his intentions to remain at Miami, the LSU fans and all others from Louisiana took him at this word.
When he left Miami, after lying like no other coach has ever done in the history of college football, they took it personal. Miami was their team and had been for decades.
So, you know, they felt Saban didn't care about Miami and therefore, didn't care about them. This made them feel like Saban was taking a shite on their heads, which is a severe sign of disrespect among nutria rat eating societies in stagnant bayou areas.

I personally hate Alabama from when Dubois called a screen to Coffey who fumbled against auburn. auburn recovers kicks a field goal to win. Cost us a ticket to the sec championship. My literal hatred for Alabama began that night. Saban and 2011 redux only added fuel to the fire. Plus I grew up about an hour and 30 minutes from Tuscaloosa.
