I will never understand why every LSU fan hates Bama

They hate Bama the same way Oklahoma hates Texas. Every time I talk to an LSU fan, they let me know how much they hate Bama. It’s been like that as long as I can remember but I’ve never really heard any Bama fans talk about how they hate LSU. What’s the deal here?
FYI LSU, we hate auburn and Tennessee. Always have. Always will. We view y’all the same way we view Mississippi State or A&M. Just a West foe. Nothing more

Because most people don't like Bama fans once they have dealt with them enough and in turn dislikes the school. Once Saban came to Bama and tied the two schools they had to deal with them.

What’s funny is every LSU fan I meet and work with in Nola is cool as shite. We just joke and laugh about the game, etc. never have crossed paths with the type of fans you see on TD.

Well, you just don't have a good memory. LSU fans have only disliked Alabama since Saban left their favorite NFL team, the Dolphins, to become coach at Alabama.
They felt betrayed because of this. The Dolphins have always been the favorite team of people from Louisiana for some reason.
I think it has to do with Don Shula having done some of his military service at Ft. Polk so, they felt like he belonged to them.

No ...LSU wanted bama way back especially with Bert Jones at qb...1973 undefeated til they met the tide 21 0...Charlie Mac fired because he couldn't beat the Bear Bama..same old song...the tide don't lose in baton rouge

I hate Alabama “ Sidewalk fan” football culture. Loathe it- b/c it’s bottom feeder, t-shirt , bandwagon, front runner garbage.I respect Alabama football, the University itself, Bama students and grads , fans that were with them for 25 years when they were mediocre etc. It’s all these bumper sticker on their truck guys that couldn’t find Tuscaloosa on a map that I save my contempt for.
