While I have your attention, can you explain what this is all about? I have asked most of the other posters on this site yet no one seems to know anything about it. Makes me wonder if any of you are actually graduates from UTrans.

It's full of aggressive homeless people. Sixth Street is downright nasty. Traffic is atrocious. It's somehow still insanely expensive. The University of Texas feels like it is 90% international students, so the campus feels more like a Model U.N. convention than a big state school.

So true. Seems like Hispanics, Indians, Pakistanis, Africans and gays have taken over campus. Especially fat female Hispanics. Not many hot white cowboy women anymore.

You and I both know your kids have zero chance of getting in.

But hey, A&M will take anyone

Unfortunately, both A&M and Texas are hostage to the state legislature and therefore offer spots to kids that benefit from grade inflation at middle to low quality public high schools. Even then, they usually opt for meaningless liberal arts degrees because the engineering and b schools are oversubscribed.

State legislators love it, but it victimizes really talented kids at high quality publics and most definitely elite private schools. It is a sort of forced mediocrity in the two student bodies and definitely drags down the average student talent at both campuses.

And most of the posters here who actually graduated from either school should be honest with themselves that they would not get in today and there kids likely won't get in either except through CAP or Blinn Team due to the screwed up priorities in Austin.

Still won't answer the question. I guess that means you have probably never actually set foot on UTrans campus since you have no idea what is going on there. That's okay. Walmart loves UTrans tshirt fans.

Without having been there, I imagine Linklater’s early 90s movie Slacker is a distillation of what you’re talking about. The older, better version of Austin.

I never seen that posted anywhere when I was on campus. Maybe it's in FAC or SSB.

This one was obviously taken in front of the tower.

Not sure about the rest of these . not that familiar with the campus

It is surprising that not a single poster on here knows anything about it yet it was on the national news when it first came out.

You see my boy, I'm a STEM major. I rarely had to go west of speedway.

It is NOT surprising that you know. You espouse the little bro mentality. Jealousy is a stinky cologne. It IS surprising you didn’t empty your desktop folder and post your favorite dildo pics.

I was as well but I still know pretty much everything there is to know about A&M and the campus.

Beginning to think you may have never actually set foot in Austin. You don't seem to know much about UTrans or Austin.

I bet you are one of those fans that gets butt hurt over a "horns down".

Are you missing them? You don't have to wait for me to post them. You can find them yourself. Just google "cocks not glocks" and then click on images.

Sorry, I missed that you are a Hogs fan . If you don't know how to "Google", walk over to the trailer house next door and get their 10 year old kid to come over and show you how.

haha okay. because the one day out of the 365 days of the year, I didn't walk by the main building, FAC, and the union when they decided to take those photos and have a booth up.

Majority of the days during the semester I never walked to that side of campus unless I needed to go to the coop on guad or to FAC for a charger/cable. All of the STEM classes are off of Speedway, which is East of the main building (UT Tower). I also never lived on campus or in west campus. So, why would I go that way?

I loathe what Austin has become. And the traffic is among the worst I’ve ever seen. Once upon a time it was a great town
