Dude,
You have no pull in the SEC. You have no history in the SEC. You have no Good 'ole Boy network in the SEC.
You may eventually earn some but you have none now.
You can't assume respect here. You earn it.

Sure - why not EKG? There's tons of these out there.

Oh, balderdash. Aggy isn't some innocent little waif to be swaddled by anyone. Get it together, Tiger.

Not claiming Texas does - merely pointing out that when it comes to schools and programs that more closely align with what other SEC schools do on a gameday (or, for that matter, as an athletic program in general) UT is more closely aligned to the SEC than TAMU.
Put it this way: yep, Texas has its work cut out for it in football, and most likely (like TAMU) will take its lumps. But in other sports (for instance - baseball, volleyball, basketball, swimming, etc.) the SEC definitely traded up. I am looking forward to the competition in all fields - and hopefully the football program will improve because iron sharpens steel.

Fair response but we don't suck at basketball, baseball or track either.
Smack talk is welcome. Unearned arrogance from some of you is not

Just to be clear: I am not talking down any other school's programs. For instance Texas being able to join the SEC in baseball ups the ante for all - Texas holds it own (OK ... getting past that initial tourney in Dallas in February ...) and the same can be said in other sports (Kentucky v. Texas in volleyball NC final, etc).
It's truly exciting that Texas may be a part of it - and hopefully it will get better and competitive in football.

Then while we’re being “clear ... “
I wasn’t talking about game day/Yell Leaders, the grass around the Memorial Student Center, and/or a video. I was referring to the fundamental differences in our respective universities. We left. Y’all followed—after a decade of your fans excoriating anything and everything SEC.
I totally get you attempting to steer the conversation towards our esoteric traditions, though. There’s just not much else you can say.
Good luck.

At least going 7-5/8-4 in the SEC is actually respectable

Someone has to have this video saved somewhere? They removed it from Youtube out of embarrassment

I could see LSU and Texas enjoying a special bond in their trashing of A&M going forward. Texas fans will of course have to stop being such Texas fans for this to happen, but I think it just might work.

Why would anyone ever feel sorry for TA&M fans? They’re so far beyond being relatable that it’s impossible.

Who doesn't feel sorry for Aggy fans every once in a while?
This. They even suck at cheating.
