Only a problem for Georgia so far.

Can’t wait to play that horrible LSU defense. We might hit 80 points.

And yet, Texas hasn’t ranked higher than Alabama recruiting since NIL cranked up. Where is the Texas class right now, according to On3 ? #7 ?
Why waste the money on high school recruits when we can just steal them in the portal.

Ryan Williams decommitted from Alabama when Saban retired. DeBoer got him back. Those pesky facts…
Exactly, there was a LOT of concern and assumptions that Saban retiring would signal a mass exodus and for a while it really looked like that's what was going to happen. But credit to DeBoer for convincing some valuable players to come back.

He's part of the new wave of elite offensive minds just unfortunately he's doing it for Bama. Will be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out, they maintain this offensive firepower they could run the table. Who's gonna stop Milroe? Will be interesting when they play Tennessee and LSU on the road if those teams will be highly ranked entering those games. Hell, Missouri could be interesting however they play Bama at Bama so could be tough.

Les Miles was a problem too when he inherited Saban's program, until he wasn't.
How many national championship games did Miles coach in before he got the LSU job?

The gump thinks one class makes a winner. That's funny. Tell that to fAggy.
“DeBoer can’t recruit”
“Well, let’s see if he can recruit more than one class”
Move those goal posts

Yupp, you could tell all of Saban's assistants when he was at LSU (Dooley, Smart, Muschamp, etc.) did not respect Miles with how he ran the program they built with how he bungled so much and didn't appear to know what he was doing. After the high of 2007, the comedown was swift.

Luckily he hasn't missed a beat in recruiting... which you also claimed recruiting would tank...

He didn't have any issues beating Cal without Saban's recruits...

The jury is still out if he can recruit at the level the gumps are used to.
Bama's ranked #2 in the 2025 composite recruiting class link, with five 5-star players. & all of them committed to Coach Deboar months after Coach Saban retired.

Well ... lets see, you had a 50% chance of being correct .. like flipping a coin ! So, are you kicking or deferring ?

Oh, so the 2025 class is already playing on the field in live games?

Anyone that thought the Gumps were falling off a cliff was an idiot or Auburn fan.

No, your comment was about Saban’s recruits filtering out.
Alabama is currently ranked second in the 2025 class with fewer commits and a higher player average.
The other recruits who were on campus recently to watch DeBoer's team play seemed pretty excited, judging by their reaction in that video.

I commented to someone who commented on whether or not Deboar could recruit. Right now, looks like he's doing pretty good.

I believe Deboer and his current staff are better coaches coaches than what Saban had before he retired. But considering how much football Deboer has under his belt, its the little things that seem odd to me on how he chooses to finish teams off. Clock mang and play calls were real head scratchers. And how the offense went to non-existent. Time will tell.

DeBoer convienced a bunch of teammates to hang together. Some guys/players were always just looking out for their future....no problem with that.
...but some players felt committed to each other and the team. It's showing in a good way.
