Nah secondary was pretty bad to begin with and OL had struggles all season.

I expected 1-2 losses, but not the season to go the way it did, the team got better by leaps and bounds on D every week and improved.

No doubt the HUNH and running threat at QB (in the 1st half before Bama's D adjusted) is what killed them against OU. Stoops skullfricked Bama's coaching staff talking up Bell and Saban and Kirby expected a running QB in the 1st half, they rolled with the other guy and threw it DF the whole 1st half and the HUNH didn't help of course.

I hope this and the AU loss pisses off the guys coming back and the new guys coming in EEs etc can hit the ground running and this group can come together for next yr

I don't know whether or not to expect Coker, but I think David Cornwell will have a good shot to earn the starting QB job

You don't need a stable with Derrick Henry. The dude is a beast.

No kidding. If he stays healthy and doesn't get at least 20 touches per game, Saban can go frick himself.

how so? It just became obvious as opposed to a theory with little to back it up.

it "became obvious" after the last game of the season. Prior to the AU game there was a much different tone coming from your fanbase

Agreed and its extremely crazy to say just throw a 2x 1000-yd guy by the wayside like Yeldon, but it seems his time has passed to Henry

He is gonna be very special when given a chance

It's not the offense, they were playing from behind all night and had to throw.

It is the D, and stopping good teams that use the hurry up. Plain and simple. The key here: GOOD TEAMS

A better view of play development from the sidelines could help defend against the HUNH.

Gonna have to do something - A&M, Auburn, and Oklahoma all torched us on defense.

Bama's talent will win against the Ole Miss and MSSTs of the world running the HUNH offense, it will not against better athletes.
