I cann't see any coach in a major conference being "afraid" of another coach. Saban gets respect, no doubt, but...losing 3 games every yr but one at LSU, a few to nobodies, last yr's record at Bama, should not induce fear in any coach. Respect, yes. Fear? Come on, be real.

I don't understand the logic behind some people wanting to get rid of the guy. Doesn't he have one of the best records in the SEC right now out of all of the coaches? The guy can coach. He has lost 3 games this year and they are wanting to get rid of him.Hell, it took Bama 5 yrs to get rid of Shula. I think they need to be a little more patient. (Yes, I said patient. I told you earlier that I was not your typical Bama fan.)

ive always been a huge Tubs supporter,and always felt if talent was near equal AU would win because Tubs was just better, as indicated by his record against top 10 teams which for awhile was unbelievable. But this time seems different he seems confused in his comments and strategy,before after a loss i felt like he would right the ship and quickly,this just feels different

It feels different b/c he put trust in someone else and was comfortable running the pro style offense. If he can get a Kiffin or someone along those lines AU will be just fine.

Wouldnt he want to stay in the SEC? What jobs may be available next year Tennessee, Mississippi St?

No, he meant the picture of John Parker Wilson under his name...you can tell he is using his tough guy face in that picture. I will never forget the night JPW and some of his "boys" from Hoover showed up to the Flora Bama. NOBODY messed with those guys...you could just tell they were bad dudes. His fitted Boston Red Sox hat tilted to the side made him look more intimidating than Ray Lewis.
