I think Saban gave up on the NFL because he realizes the players had become self-centered primadonnas when he went back.

I can see it happening. The Browns are talent laden, and the weather in northern Ohio is the tits.

This is the point my dog brought up. I was unable to talk her down from it.

This was reported last week on Channel 8 here in Montgomery. I tried to report it twice last week, and both of my posts were deleated. Channel 8 said the Cleveland Browns are interested in him. I can't see him going to the NFL since he failed at Miami. Only time will tell, and Bama fans, don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth concerning the NFL.

it has been reported everywhere that the browns were coming after saban. he might go, he might not. but, i guarantee you, no one has a 100% insight as to where he will be next year but saban himself...not the browns, not alabama and most certainly not some sec ranter's friends.

There will be a day this current mountain top will not satisfy him. I doubt it is this year but you never know. The last thing we need is 5 open SEC jobs.

I've been thinking the same thing for the last few months. Saban doesn't stay anywhere too long and he doesn't want "he can't coach with the big boys" in his legacy.

shite I could have told him that before he left LSU.

Wish he would have asked me

I just don't see it. He knows that if he stays at Bama til say 2020 than he will be a top 3 CFB coach of all time. I also think he knows that he's not talented and versatile enough to coach in the NFL unless its a dominant franchise.

Saban to the NFL, and Miles has enough of LSU fans constant whining, so he goes to Bama.
I would love to see the meltdown on the tiger rant if that ever happened, however i think the entire internet would crash, and al gore would have to rebuild it from the bottom up

Unfortunately, Bama fans are going to have to deal with the rumors, that LSU had to deal with. Will he stay, or will he leave? If it wasn't for LSU getting him away from Michigan State, Saban may still be an average coach. He sure never dominated the Big 10, but LSU and Saban gave each other national recognition. Bama fans, I love that you are currently have to deal with the rumors, that tiger fans had to endure. Just enjoy your recent success and pray that he doesn't leave. That arrogant bastard, lied to us and the national media. I, for one, hope he stays at Bama, because the rumors about Saban, that the Tide will have to endure will be well worth it.

I would think he stays and packs in a few more nattys ensuring no other coach in his life time will reach his accomplishments. But it's Saban and who really knows this man anyway?
I think it would be awesome if he went!

Almost literally LSU had to hear these same exact type rumors & pro & con explanations for leaving/staying..for his last 3 yrs. And none of the NFL teams were top of the line programs. We kept hearing the Bears & at that time they were below average. One thing was a constant "given": Nicky wanted/s full & complete control of the team. He got that with the Fins & still could not make it work. But it is funny to hear all these rumors again. And they will only get worse as the season progresses, both the SEC's & the NFL's. He left us on Christmas Eve so I doubt he could possibly do anything worse beyond leaving close to NSD. But I cann't see him going at this point in his career & most LSU fans know that.
