No one gave Ohio st a chance a few years ago. Anything can happen.

The SEC Champion always has a good shot.

I don’t understand why this is controversial.

12-1 SEC Champion....yeah, we can compete with anyone. Every team has losses that is left showing every team is beatable. Clemson OU and Bama are also all capable of winning it. Just need to catch fire and ride the wave.

I thought the winner of the SECCG would win it all. I think UGA will rip OU fairly easily and matches up well with Clemson. Bama won't score enough to beat UGA or Clemson.

UGa had to play an extra game and has to travel to play in the Rose Bowl. Meanwhile Alabama rests up and is rewarded for not playing in a conference championship by playing a home game in their backyard.

The playoff committee should have ranked Alabama #3 and forced them to travel. Too bad UGa, you got hosed worse than OSU.

They do. They're built like the Bama teams that won it all a few times. They can do it.

My heart is right there with you but my mind says:
1. Dang we are playing a Freshman QB.
2. Our OL is not championship caliber.
3. Our defense let Auburn run all over us.
4. Our DB's seem to leave receivers wide-open too often.

Having said that:
Fromm seems like a natural born leader at QB and is well ahead of schedule as a Freshman QB.
Our OL stepped up against Auburn and seem to gelling as a group.
Our front 7 came to play yesterday as well and we have some excellent LB's.
5. Our DB's had for the most part tight coverage and made tackles when they had to.

I have no idea how we will match up against OU but hopefully we can at least make it a close contest.
